If you are looking for a good "bang for your buck" this hotel is for you. Very good location, you could feel the ocean breeze and it took 5 minutes to walk to the water from the hotel. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly and efficient. The pool is small, but clean and you can swim until 9 pm which is nice. The maid on our floor (room 309) was terrific. The Pirate's Den across the street serves an extraordinary breakfast. I had the King Oscar (Crab meat) Eggs.
所有评语 » We really enjoyed staying at the hotel. It was clean and the price was right. There were more young couples then families. So if you were looking for a more family style hotel this may not be the best. The location was off the boardwalk but still bean accessible. We could walk to Seacrets and the places that the young couple like to hit up. :) It's motel style set up was perfect for those who come in late night, as we didn't feel like we were disturbing anyone. We read some reviews that comaine. Service was excellent, we had a late arrival and there was no problem getting us into our room. We were with a group of friends and had 2 vehicles, they left us park both vehicles on the parking lot even though the limit was 1 per vehicle per room. We were there for the MSFA convention and this place was within walking distance to most everything that we did. The room was clean and freshly painted. If your looking for a reasonably priced room close to the beach and attractions, book at the . The Thunderbird was absolutely fantastic for a budget beach weekend! The room was clean and comfortable, and we certainly didn't expect a mini-fridge and flat screen TV for how low the price was! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and it was great being right on the beach. I really couldn't recommend this place more for the traveler on a budget! :). If all you're looking for is a place to sleep...you can't beat the price! The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked great! The location was one block from Coastal Highway. The bus stop was on the corner and it cost $3.00 for the day. Didn't really need to drive at all. I would stay there again. The hotel does alot with alittle. Its very old, but they keep it very clean and had nice bright colorful comforters. The pool was excellent, clean and warm, not crowded. It's very close to the beach and boardwalk. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I would stay here again for sure. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Booking through your web site was extremely easy and worth the effort for price. When we had an issue with our room safe not working, a number of the hotel staff rose to the occasion to get the issue resolved. We will definitely consider this hotel again. The location is right next to the sand dunes and beach also, inexpensive places to eat in addition to the jolly rogers amusement park. The staff was expediant and experienced. This is not a luxury hotel. But we knew that already. For less than a $100 a night it's a bargain! The room was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. I actually think that maybe the hair on sheets was from the cleaning staff when making . Overall I enjoyed my stay. It had a pool that was nice and clean. It was very close to the beach, the board walk was about three blocks down but that was not a problem. The staff was nice. The rooms were clean and theyhjad a flat screen tv with alot of channels I did not expect them to have. Our television stopped working. We called the desk, they immediately addressed the problem and brought us a new one. Problem was solved in about 10 minutes. The price was not to bad. Air conditioner worked great. This is very minor and not that important. The motel was about a block from the boardwalk and on that side of the boardwalk, there weren't any stores until you got like halfway. But that's ok, you just had to do some walking or even take the train on the boardwalk. Very minor issue but everything else was great!. The bathroom was small and room was tight for 3 adults. After check out changing room is very small and not ventilated. Numerous outlets in our room were not working which made it difficult to use hair dryers, etc. Shower water temp was difficult to regulate. If you want to walk the boardwalk this is not the place. This place is located midtown 3blocks before the boardwalk begins if you are interested in the famous fatty foods that are normally there you will have to drive or huff it for 35-45 minutes or more. We didn't want to drive so we walked killed our feet though there is a trolly available on 27th street and below for $3 which will take u the length of the boardwalk. We came back from dinner one night and the parking lot was full. Even though we had a parking pass we had to park in the street. Only a small inconvenience. the water pressure kind of was low for showering and flushing the toilet. beds were not comfortable at all. N/a. The outlets in the room were all coming out of the wall. The tv and the microwave didn't work unless you jiggled the outlets and it made me nervous to plug in my phone charger. Didn't like the beds you automatically rolled to the center of the bed like sleeping in a "V". Also, people that hung outside their rooms in the walkway all day long. Everytime we went to our room we had to pass these men at all hours of the day and night. beds---to small. I didnt like that the walls are so thin,we could hear the drunks in the next room and kids running around above us. Room were outdated, but for the price it was fine. Clientele smoking in corridor. The outdated room keys and limited overnight parking. not on boardwalk. Bathroom small, steps , hot water in & out, office staff not very friendly. that it was not closer to the boardwalk. Parking was at a premium but doable. Lights: one of them wasn't working so I jiggled the lightbulb and it shattered, messy clean up. no blow dryer in the room no elevator. too small of sink in the bathroom. The office people could be more friendly. The rooms were older, the toilet hardly flushed; I think there needs to be some updates. The walls had holes in them and peeling. The refrigerator had trays that were rusted. I wish the rooms were a little more spacious. Nothing really. The Bathrooms could be updated. Room was clean besides the trash that was under the bed. Staff wasn't very friendly. Lights in room did not work. microwave too small door lock hard to lock no reserved parking spaces. Vastly overpriced and our room was never cleaned. We lost a key and it was 50 bucks for the lost.. i just hope it was found in our room and i get the money back!. The bathroom was disgusting, the shower was dirty with hair. And there was no shower curtain. The floor was dirty and the toilet had stains everywhere. The front desk responded to any requests although they were rude and barely talked to you while checking in and out. Carpet wasn't very clean Shower water would be either really hot or really cold according to other rooms using the shower, toilet, etc at the same time. No elevator.
