  Very friendly and comfortable hotel. Excellent location for exploring Oakland and for transport links to San Francisco by ferry, bus and BART.   One of the maids helped me find the heater control. There was a controller on the wall, but the real controls were on the wall panel. Also the room did not have glasses so she got them for me.
