excellent NYC like experience great price nice upgrade,nice staff, great restaraunt can't wait to stay there again the open space the lounge area, local artists, beautiful books, fabulous view of the river and open windows in restaraunt!. Outstanding decoration, properly located, very supportive and friendly staff, and good value for money ratio. Also, there were many options for breakfast. The high score for this establishment is very well deserved.

Breakfast was good - had the best scrambled eggs ever!. Mediterraneo Restaurant & Bar. I should have asked for a room in the back. Our room had a translucent panel dividing the bathroom from the bedroom, so when someone goes to the toilet at night the whole room lights up. The train behind my room was a bit noisy. The signage was much too small on the front of the hotel and on the street to be seen easily! For a traveler unfamiliar with Norwalk, I had to drive back and forth several times to locate it. Little thing -- one ice machine per floor -- at the end of a long, long corridor. To me the mattress was not comfortable. Problems with check in and check out. Staff was very, very polite but they had problems with the reservation (made more than a week in advance) and it took them a while to sort out. Staff member didn't seem trained on the computer very well. Checking out same thing very nice and polite but unable to print out the invoice - he had trouble with printing. Seem like they just need to sort out the training for check in and check out. Pillows weren't comfortable for us. Very disappointing breakfast buffet let down a good hotel, with great restaurant attached. Friday nights room was on the train side of the hotel. The train passed by at 11:45, 12:45 and at 3:47. That was the end of sleep for me. The next morning a young man behind the desk assured me that when we returned at4 he would have a room for us on the street side of the hotel. When we came back there was no room change. Finally the manager gave us a no- show room. .The breakfast was meager and awful. Did not even provide yoghurt. I would never stay there again.
