We had a terrible stay at a NYC hotel previous to this hotel so we walked away from our booking & found this place. It was brand new & their service levels were incredible! Great, comfy little rooms, free wifi, a guest lobby area on 27th floor that overlooks Chrysler building & other skyscrapers, computers to access & complimentary snacks! Location is excellent, walking distance to Times Sq, Rockefellar building & quick food options for breakfast like Pret. Overall we loved .
所有评语 » The location is great. It is a new hotel still under construction but it is almost done. It is very good to have complimentary drinks and snacks during de day on 27th floor with a couple of computers and printer to acces . You can refill your water bottle with fresh cold water just outside your bedroom door. The bathroom is very well lit which is quite unusual in hotels and room nicely decorated. You can also open the window. Within walking distance of most tourist attractions. The guest laundry machines complete with washing powder, etc. The large HD TV where I could use my own USB stick to watch movies, etc. The complimentary use of PCs and printing from my room. The staff are eager to please. The complimentary chilled water on every level. I will gladly recommend this hotel. It is a breath of fresh air. Check-in was super smooth, staff were polite and helpful. Room was very clean upon arrival which was maintained very well by housekeeping over our 3 day stay. We especially enjoyed the room service- lots of choices on the various menus. We ordered something every day of our stay. My husband and I would defintely stay at this hotel again!! Ps. location is fantastic. . It's quite new and the rooms are in perfect shape. A bit small but suits great for solo travelers or couples. The rates were the best I could find for this level and location. And location is really good when in Manhattan. Breakfast is nice, coffee machine in the rooms is great and you get free bottled water with no limit. I happened to check in on opening night of this location - the staff were very friendly and proactive during my stay. There were a few glitches - an a/c not working, a problem with a door key - but the staff was great about it, and reduced my total bill at the end of my stay very generously. Location is excellent, being right next to Grand Central Station made getting around a breeze (and I could walk to many places also). Free breakfast due to the construction work was a nice surprise. Staff friendly and helpful, even when terribly busy. Very close to Grand Central and easy walking distance to 5th Avenue for shopping. The staff were helpful and attentive when we asked for anything. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. I had an specific problem and José's assistance was relevant to solve it. Self service check out, breakfast and coffee and snacks all day, docking station for iPhone that streams music through to the tv. The staff were the best asset at this hotel. Not much really, it was early days of the hotel so there were a couple of minor teething issues but the staff responded immediately & fixed things straight away so it was no trouble at all. We missed not having some drawers for pullovers and small stuff in the room. We think a couple of drawers would have been nice to have. Works down in the restaurant started before 8 am on Sunday which was quite annoying. No refrigerator. The lack of space in the Club room, having to share a table for breakfast. Nothing. I knew there was construction work going on, but I had no idea how loud it would be (like, I thought a drill would come through my wall at any minute). So while the work continues, don't expect peace and quiet during the day if you are staying in (which you shouldn't do in NYC anyway). My tv reception didn't work, and despite the best efforts of the maintenance guy he couldn't get it going, which was annoying for a solo traveller like me who could have done with some tv company. Lifts were very slow. Room was small for a double. Missing a bed side locker. Only one chair and no table for working on laptop as advertised. Not enough seating in the breakfast room in the mornings. Had to ask for hangers, iron, ironing board and hairdryer as they weren't supplied. Overcrowded for breakfast on Saturday morning - only 1 staff member on duty - she was excellent! Lack of proper foyer - when hotel is complete this aspect will be addressed. Room did not have a table desk for working. Port for laptop in wrong location. NO luggage rack. Lounge chair do not have a floor lamp for reading. Need better instructions for location of iron and ironing board.( located on the hall not in the room) Need another hook in the bathroom for towels. Did not have any literature - Where Magazine an other info about NYC. Need more copies of the papers in the liviing room. Seemed to be understaffed. They charge 38 dollars for early check in and I tought that was ridiculous. That should definitly be complementary. It wasn't quite finished but the staff and service made up for this Only two lifts for 27 floors meant some long waits. I didn't like the shower, the hose wasn't flexible enough, and the air conditioner was quite noissy. Noise during the day from. Builders and room that flanks Lexington ave noisy at night. Construction was taking place so a bit noisy at times. Towels were new and left fluff after use.. Wash basin wouldn't empty. Many intrusive fire alarm testing announcements - why not notify patrons of these at desk? Only a one bedside table in a double room - definitely needs two!. There was construction going on at the hotel, but it did not start until 8 am on Saturday morning, which is late enough in my opinion. The hotel offered a $50 Amazon gift card as a compensation to the construction. no mini safe in bedroom, no adult channels. Conditioning was very loud. Wi-fi was working poorly. some rooms have no desk - if you need a desk ask for a room with a desk. - Still under construction !!! (end of October) - Was very noisy during morning hours - Lower floors suffer from street noise 24Hrs. I guess they're in the process of renovating so there was a bit of a confusion Finding the entrance but the 27th floor lounge was a nice surprise. Hard to find and a little noisier than I would have liked. The rooms were very close together. Die Heizung ist furchtbar laut und schwer zu regulieren. Keine Heizung im Bad. It was first week after opening of this new hotel; some facilities were not fully functional. Building work, wait for lifts and lack of chip and pin facility on cards. Air conditioner worked very loud. The main entrance on the Lexington ave. Is under construction at the moment, so the reception is around the corner and can't cope with lots of guests and you have to wait on the line on check in / check out times. It seemed like the room was not in use for a long time that the bathroom counter top was covered with some dust; the coffee maker was dirty that I asked to get a new one. Was still under construction, all the furniture was not delivered (there were no chairs in the room). Under construction .paint smell .construction noise .facilities not working. Construction. Tiny room It's club quarters not a boutique. Snacks mediocre. Under construction- guests should be hugely comped. We had no hot water for the whole time we stayed there. The staff said there was nothing they could do about it but at $ 350 a night this should not have been an issue. The hotel was und complete reconstruction which was it mentioned on the Internet booking site. Room had strange layout, was small, and the price too high. Everything was a bit confused due to the newness and the restaurant food needs a lot of improvement. - They gave us an occupied room at the arrival. - The other night, someone wanted to enter our room at the middle of night. You can imagine this nightmare!!! - The night before check-out, we asked them for late check-out process, and they said "no problem". But later on, they blocked our keys!. They made me pay them twice. . They charged my card for the price and an addintinal 50 $ then said they didn't charge the card and made me pay them another 232 $.. be careful of them thwy are not honest and the officers are not friendly or cooperating at all.
