The location was perfect for us to travel between the two sides of Shawnee National Forest. It was away from hotel row making it quieter. There were fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Staff was professional and accommodating to our needs. Very clean!. i was very happy with andrew at the front desk, the breakfast was awesome, there was so much to do at the hotel, and everything seemed new and modern.

The people were friendly. The price was reasonable. Nice room with good amenities. Good breakfast with excellent coffee. Good location near interstate. Nice indoor pool and spa. Easy to find and book. Comfort and cleanliness. Everything was convenient. The pool was nice, the room was nice, the breakfast was good. Nice clean hotel. Location. Friendly honest staff left a purse there with 400.00 got it all back theresa is wo mn derfull. Nothing. there was a new girl that didnt know much about anything which she should have been better trained, or if she didnt have an answer for guests, she should have someone to call. also, the bathroom in our room was very disappointing. there was hair all over in the shower, and although the room seemed to be clean, the bathroom being dirty made me question the cleanliness of the rest of our room. Our room key card key card for room access repeatedly failed to work. However the desk staff patiently reset it each time. Screaming 7-8 children running through lobby as I walked in the door to register after a very long and tiring day. No smile or greeting from staff. Asked for luggage rack. Was told being used by pizza man delivering 10 pizzas in the lobby to a large gathering, and i could go ask him for it if I wanted. Wish breakfast was a little better. Didn't like being locked out of the hotel with a quest key because I was improperly checked in. The hot tub was almost scalding. Every single person who came down couldn't stand to even get in it. Our tv in our room was broke And with a small child that was not a good thing. They did nothing to make it right, they made no attempt to fix it or compensate us gor the inconvieniance. I have stayed at this location twice and they have charged me more then my booking price both times. Breakfast was rather limited. One of the beds one night was not cleaned. Complained to front desk in the late evening. Bed had to be made by family member (84 years old). This was not acceptable!. Used wash cloth hanging over shower curtain upon arrival. Waste baskets not emptied during our stay. Coffee not restocked. Being charged 3 times for the room on the same day at different times, and still fighting with them over it, I will never stay at another Best Western.
