Middle of the keys, easy access to both upper and lower keys. Clean, comfortable rooms; quiet for the location. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Very nice restaurant/bar on premises and accross the street, both with water views. Dive/fishing shop behind the hotel was convienient. Continental breakfast was pretty good; outdoor pool was clean and large; computer room was available in lobby and free wi-fi in rooms.
所有评语 » The place was very clean - updated. The cleaning staff was very nice, personable. The pool and outside patio was very nice. The front desk staff the day of our arrival 4/25 was very nice, the staff the next day was not as pleasant, and would not give us another bottle of water. We stayed 1 night on our way to Key West. The room was spacious and clean. We has supper across the road at a bar and grill. The pool looked great, although we never used it. A great little breakfast. The hotel is like new, very nice and high standard. Typical us breakfast, very simple. Good access, best for a short stop or nightover. The front desk was kind and very helpful. Especially Mr. Olivier was always there to help and he was an excellent professional. Lovely staff; excellent restaurant on the property; nice pool area; lovely nature setting. The fl Keys are terrific in May. Free wifi, breakfast and parking all fab :) nice modern room, pool area and restaurant overlooking the sea!. Fantastic location went paddle boarding and kayaking happy hour and food great would thoroughly recommend. The location, also across from the Island Fish Co. great food! Water, breeze. Nice. Marathon is nice. Nice spacious rooms and comfortable beds and pillows. Nice assortment for breakfast. Friendly staff. Our room clean, with the latest TV beds were comfortable. Room was spacious enough, clean and although the elevator and ice machine was close by...relatively quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with healthy choices in addition to the carbs. Location The size of the room and the swimming pool. Clean, okay location for Keys exploration. Hotel was nice. Breakfast was good. No balconies. We asked for a bottle of water more than once and we are priority members and we were told they only give out one throughout the whole stay. This is the first holiday inn that had ever said that to me. IF nothing else, they should have offered for me to buy it but did not. Secondly the eggs part of the breakfast was gross. They were processed not scrambled. And there was no meat the first morning - a variety of fruit would have been nice too. Pricey, but what isn't in the Keys. The walls between the rooms and hall are soundproof as curtains, I guess you can hear even if they whisper in next room or if someone walks in corridor. I you watch the tv it's better to watch the same channel as next room or use headphones. Otherwise very nice hotel. The breakfast area was small. Of course you could use the pool area. Insanely cold; virtually all common areas are maintained at 60-63º f !!!! Carmen needs changing in common areas. Internet speeds are deplorable. The WiFi exists but the speeds render it essentially nonfunctional. Reception staff a bit slow, always a queue. Need to have. car to get anywhere as its on edge of the key. The restaraunt on the property. bad food. bad staff. We were so busy diving etc, that we didn't use the facilities, pool, or free breakfast. room amenities were sparse breakfast was chaos too little seating for breakfast room needed repairs, such as running toilet (fixed) broken hairdryer (fixed) no exhaust fan (not fixed). breakfast room to small and very busy at times with people having to eat whilst standing. The roach on the ceiling. Construction going on in the lobby and dining area.Someone did get bumped from my room during check in, it could have been me u. weather - don't take me serious. No frig. I wish you had a similar motel in Islamorada. More fruit in the breakfast buffet. Wish the lounge/restaurant 'twas open. It looked so nice but it was closed. thin walls were noisy. That there wasn't a side entrance for parking on the side of the building and another elevator at the rear!. You need a list of places to give your visitors. We accidentally found out about Sombrero Beach. We stayed during your tile reno. The first day was a little loud, the staff took it all in stride and explained. It all worked out great in the end. Not a thing. liked everything. no problems. More of a business hotel than a vacation hotel. Adjoining Restaurant was closed during our stay. Breakfast room to small. Dirty windows. Location is ok as resting point on the keys, but not great on its own. Parking was very difficult One elevator in large hotel For the elderly I would not recommend unless you stay on bottom floor and then hope you get a handicap parking spot near front door. Two spots in front and four in the back but keep in mind elevator is at front of hotel. I was hoping by getting a "suite" that the bedroom would be closed off from the livingroom/fold out couch area. The noise level and the sheets. Couldn't pre pay bill. No laundry facility which is important in the Florida Keys. Had to drive south 30 minutes to a laundramat. paper thin walls,building seemed very cheaply made, very noisy(you could hear everydoor from other floors and nearby rooms open and closing all night as well as voices as if others were in your room!), uncleaned coffee pot with coffee still inside, no fan vent in bathroom (became very steamy after shower). would like to have paid a little less for the stay. High end price for this hotel brand. No fridge in room. Loud HVAC. No refrigerator. Also, while it says free cancellations, that is not exactly true. It is free up to about three days before arrival and then you have to pay one night's fee - so it is not technically free. Some other hotels required a longer lead time for cancellations, but also did not advertise as free. So what lead time constitutes free? I would think up to 6 pm on arrival date.
