Loved the location, it's a great location to get anywhere along the central coast. Best ocean front & accessability to the beach we could see from any of the other resorts in the area. Really liked having the balcony to sit or walk out to see the view. Ours pictures would tell the story. It was great having the gas fireplace to help make you comfortable on the cool evenings. The Mist restuarant was a bonus, only steps away from your room. The service was really good, the atmosphere was comf.
所有评语 » The quietness of the rooms and the view of the ocean. The pleasantness of the staff. The extras - downstairs in the patio area were several fire pits for families to sit around. Pets are welcome. Fresh salads, sandwiches, desserts, drinks, etc. were in a refrigerated case for purchase. Also snacks and candies were for sale. Elevators had a view of the outside (I'm claustrifobic). The room coffee was delicious! The dog area was convenient. There was always coffee, cookies and local pap. My wife and I went to Lincoln City for our honeymoon. We stayed at The Surftides for three nights in the king suite. Right from the start everything was fantastic! we were greeted by a very friendly staff and was checked-in in no time. I had a dozen chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room upon check-in and the staff accommodated very well. The hotel is located right on the beach, so if you have a suite that has a balcony, the view is absolutely be. We loved our room and wish we could have stayed longer! The peanut butter cookies in the lain lobby....YUM! Friendly staff...great location...WISH We would have had time to bike ride. Loved the fire pits for smore making...and did I mention...we loved our room???!!!!!! We also got a good laugh about the prices for everything in our room being listed ...too funny! When we checked out, I asked the guy how much one of the door signs would cost...and he gave us 2 to take hm...free! Lol! Very enjoya. This is the first time we stayed at this hotel in Lincoln City and we will be back. The view of the ocean from the deck of our room was amazing. It was very affordable, had beach access and was a short drive to the casino. It was quiet at night and very comfortable. The hotel had a basic look to it but our room was clean and a good size for the two of us. Checking in and out was easy and fast and the people at the front desk were very friendly. This is the first place we will try to book wh. Friendliness of staff who did everything they could to book us into the Surftides when we needed to move from a different, inappropriate "resort". Not only did they save our vacation, they were kind enough to allow our dog which was bigger than they normally accept. The location is excellent and the rooms, with nice updates like a keurig, fireplace, flat screen TV, and comfortable bed, made up for the fact that the property is not new. Wheelchair access was also very good. The view....outst. We stayed in room 333 which had a large balcony and great west and north view of the Pacific. Staff was friendly and accommodating and they even brought cookies to our room. Room was spacious and updated. and the micro and refrigerator really helped out. Bed was okay. The grounds were well maintained and clean. The beach was right there and ideal for long walks. I will definitely stay there again when we visit the Oregon coast. Although I booked through you, I called the hotel direct to ask for a handicapped or ground floor room, and they made sure that we got that when your booking came through. They had great beach access, and had gas firepits on site and sold smore's kits for families (without having to build a beach fire). Staff was very prompt with requests (we needed 2 extra chairs to seat all of us around the table, and extra towels). We come here every year with the kids. Great location one of the few places in lincoln city right on the beach. The pool facility is nice and perfectly located with the gym sauna and hot tubs so you can check on your kids. The kids love out door fire pits because they get the feeling of the beach but are blocked from all the wind at night. My boyfriend proposed to me while staying here, and couldn't think of a better spot to celebrate such a happy occasion. The hotel is beautiful and clean, and we loved the sound of the waves crashing the beach! Staff was friendly and helpful, and we loved the comfort of the outdoor lounge. The room was so nice, Loved having a real bathroom! The beach access was perfect. The restaurant was so great for breakfast. Staff very friendly! Ran out of tp with no extra one there around midnight, but someone had one to the door in minutes. Laundromat on site. My husband and I were impressed with this, our first time at Surftides. It was nicely updated and the facility and staff were pleasant. We will definitely recommend it. My husband really appreciated the cookies when we checked in. :). Being able to have a smoke free room,having a glass sliding door and sitting on the veranda listening to the waves. Clean comfortable room. Staff very pleasant and when we needed something they were right there accommodating us. Right on the beach. Friendly helpful staff. Onsite restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. Beds were so comfortable I wanted to find out the brand of mattress. Reasonably quiet. Free wifi. Keurig brewer in the room. Room was ocean front, great restaurant the mist. The fireplace pits, where great. Had a wonderful time, loved watching all the families enjoying the wonderful weather and very clean beach. Would go back in a heartbeat. Having a balcony, the ocean view, easy access to beach, the comfortable bed, nice staff, beautiful lobby, the pool, spa & exercise room, the fireplace, the lighted surf at night, the yummy homemade cookies daily. Liked the fresh cookies upon arrival. The desk clerk was great as he noticed that we booked a really small room and found another room more comfortable. Beds really comfortable and beach view was great. I went there when I was a kid almost every other year. The pool and jacuzzi is very nice and clean. The restaurant has very good food and great service. The music in the evening was really nice. The young lady at the front desk the first 2days we were there always hade a smile on her face, very helpful with questions you could tell she really enjoys her job. She made our stay even better. We had an excellent experience and time. The staff was most accomidating and the food was top notch. We will put this in our bucket list for another visit. Thank You so much. Barbara and Larry. We had a fantastic time at Surftides! It was clean, well priced, and relaxing. We made s'mores around the fire pit on Saturday night, and played in the pool on a windy, cold day. We loved it!. Great location right on the water. Room was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Balcony looks right out on the beach. Staff was friendly. Gas fireplace in the room was a nice touch!. Being right on the beach was great!! The smell of the salt air, and the gorgeous sandy beach were fantastic. The food in the restaurant was very affordable and wonderfully well prepared. It provided 80% of full view. asked for early check-in and our room was ready at 1:30 p.m. on Labor Day weekend. Lady at front desk was very pleasant even though she was very busy. To top if off the was live entertainment. We had a blast!!. Our room was clean & comfortable. The bed was new & comfortable with fitted sheets! But the room could use some serious updating. The carpet & couch are worn, the toilet would run every now & again even after letting the staff know about the problem. The refrigerator didn't have an ice compartment for our ice packs. The patio was dirty on one side with bird droppings. A plastic laundry bag would be nice to have in the room. Need at least one handle bar to get into the tub as a safety feature. There was a gnarly smell while going up and down the stairs/ramp to and from our room. Kind of a sewer type slell....others were commenting about it as well. Also...maybe a roll of paper towels and bigger drinking glasses in our room? We got pizza to bring back to our room and had to use washcloths to wipe our hands/faces. The comforter had hair or something on it when we got there as well. Maybe pets had been in there before us? It wasn't too big of a deal though. Surprised to not see an iron in the room but we didn't need one so it was no big deal to us. That our stay came to an end. Should have given a discount to the restaurant on site to encourage more users. No complimentary breakfast, as so many do have now. No fan in the bathroom. Nothing. The combo heatlamp and fan in the bathroom. Would be great if they were not together. The weight room elliptical monitor info did not work. Just like feedback for it, but very glad there was one there at all!. Some fixtures are old. Toilet didn't work - but someone was right over to fix it. Sink stopper was broken. The throw on the bed should have been thrown away, very tacky. Didn't get enough towels. The walkway under the hotel was freaky. No complimentary breakfast. They used to have one. Property is very dated and door to our room looked like someone took a screwdriver to it trying to break in. Pool and hot tub closed too early for adults. I still didn't find any mermaids. hahaha!!! next time hopefully!!!. Wish we could have stayed longer. The on site restaurant had recent poor reviews so we went to another local restaurant. The room was a little dated; however it was very clean, well kept, and everything was as listed. steam room broken. no dressing rooms in pool area. Room had sparce accomidations. Tiny microwave and refer. only two plates, glasses, cups. forks, nives, and one spoon provided. There were no hooks provided in restroom to hang your robes while showering.(they had been broken off and not replaced). Wished the rate was lower. Under construction while we were there. Our room was missing a towel rack by the sink so no towel to dry hands by sink. Not fans of separated bathroom and sinks .No Pay per view movies. Service at mist was ok but staff looked and acted a bit understaffed and overwhelmed at times. Food was average to good. Pool was enjoyable but could use the next phase of updating for the property. The rooms we booked were not what we were originally told, and the upgrades to what we wanted cost more money. The room didn't have a microwave. Whenever anyone used any type of water on the floor above us it was very loud; you could literally hear the water running through the pipes...a bit annoying. Rooms have an odor (at least ours did). Showers change from cold to hot/hot to cold. It was difficult! They put young kids on upper floors so you hear them running and jumping around. Really bad WiFi connection (dropped constantly, didn't work)...was a little better on last day. Lounge closed 2 hours earlier than stated. Surftides restaurant (Mist) left much to be desired in the way of reasonably fast service and quality of food. While we would return to the Surftides hotel, we would not return to Mist restaurant. As seems to be the trend lately, an in-house free breakfast option would be appreciated. The change in the dog policy made our room get switched to a partial ocean view and more of a hassle to get to the beach. Also a not updated room. Parking was cramped. One room had mechanical problems but got accidently got booked anyway by us. However, the staff was very apologetic and quickly relocated us to a better room. We usually get breakfast in hotels, and they don't have it. But we knew that going in. The bedside clock was broken and I don't care for Keurig Coffee makers. The bathroom. If you opened the door to use the commode, it was difficult if not impossible to close the door--and the toilet paper was behind the door. The door almost stuck on the shower rod. denim bedspread. Breakfast not included,on-site restaurant is very expensive and food was not that good, we ended up going elsewhere the following days/night. Price was a little higher than it needs to be. Could have used more glassware. Only had 2 cups in the room.
