  The Hostel is really nice. . It's in Chinatown. Not the safest neighbourhood but it has Great access to public transport and the most important sights. You could just walk there. They are pretty close. Staff is very friendly and room was ok.   Extremely nice staff, pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were decorated in a beautiful and cosy way. The historic feeling is great. Great location. For breakfast, you can get tea or coffee and delicious pastry. I also liked how they turned the "bad" stuff into something nice; instead of saying "we only have bathrooms in the corridor and not in the roo... 别人怎么说 » ms" they say "You can borrow for free a nice bathrobe if you want!". - Jan (the owner) was very friendly and had a lot of suggestions for sights and activities during my short stay. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station as well as downtown Seattle/Pioneer Square. It is also on/near public transit lines. The hotel has an extremely rich and important history that Jan is always willing to talk about. If I ever make it to Seattle again, I will definitely stay here!

  I loved everything about this place- felt like home. The room was huge, comfortable and clean, the building was charming, and dont get me started on how rad the bar/restaurant is. Ive read a few bad reviews of this place, and I can only assume they are written by people who live very privileged lives.   Of the 4 hotels we stayed in on this 2week trip, Vintage Park was the best. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and went out of their way to assist with whatever we asked. The hotel was well appointed, clean and very comfortable-it felt "homey"! Glad our stay was only 2nights. Earlier in the trip we stayed at a Hyatt Regency in Va - Location was good for us. Came in by train and spent a night before an Alaskan cruise and returned for 3 more nights. In same block was a ywca with inexpensive breakfast/lunch and a deli/store across the street for snacks. Quiet and clean. Very helpful staff. Stored luggage because we arrived early in the day and our train out wasn't until late on the day we checked out. Could easily walk to Pike St. For market and shopping.
