As soon as we arrived this hotel captured us. It's location was easy
to find from the airport (though the driving on the other side of the
road/car was a little taxing). The Standard sign placed upside down,
the fire heated outside seating area, the colouful indoor waiting area
with pool table, warm and welcoming staff with a hairdressers and shop

all waiting when you enter. We were upgraded to a room with a larger bed
and docking station (the bed being the biggest ive seen, let alone slept
in) -
Everything was perfect. Excellent staff, special mention to Rodrigo, very helpful since the very beginning. The Rooftop is simply amazing, with a nice atmosphere and good music. We did not used the pool as it was always full, LOL. The location is also very good, with the 7th street Metro station 2 blocks away.

My wife and I stayed here a couple nights. The facilities were great, staff was wonderful and very helpful my only complaint was I had asked for champagne chocolate dipped strawberries and rose petals on the bed for the first night. Staff was exceptionally friendly and nice. Location was right around the corner from my children's apartment, which made it very convenient. Parking is at an optimum in LA, so having a free parking space was very, very appreciated.
