  Room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. Unusual to see hard surface floors in the room, but made me feel better about cleanliness, potential bug issues. We arrived around midnight after an international flight. Ricky at the front desk was so welcoming and sweet. Our room, #612 was extremely quiet and restful. Lovely modern room with a huge really comfortable bed (more comfortable than the bed on the cruise ship that we joined a few days later).   Bed was very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, bellman was able to hail a cab for us on the way to the airport, location was great because we did alot of Meatpacking and Chelsea sightseeing.   Overall, a great hotel, well situated to catch all of NY. Pleasant and helpful staff. However, beware of paying for a high floor room, thinking you will get a view! One of our rooms had a view of the Empire State Building - great! But the other has a view of the wall of the building opposite! The hotel happily changed it, up three floors, but th... 别人怎么说 » e view this time was of water tanks on other buildings! You're not paying for a view, just the benefit of being high up. However, that didn't spoil o - the hotel was ideally located. All staff were very helpful and friendly, and rooms were excellent. HOWEVER, beware of booking a high-floor room thinking this will give you a view. I booked two high-floor rooms. One had a lovely view over the skyline, while the other had a view of a brick wall! The hotel very kindly moved us up three floors, wher we got a view of........water tanks. So view not guaranteed! Supplement would be better reserved for those rooms with views. However, that did no
