Great location for enjoying the French quarter yet getting some sleep. East side of the French Quarter, one block from Bourbon St. Easy access to the city streetcar system. Busy staff try very hard to service the guests and succeed if you are patient. Lots of art and antique shops down Royal St. from hotel.

Everything..We checked in and was told only a double-double was available when I had prior requested a king. We were there to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary and Drew who checked us in got very busy searching for other accomodations for us. We ended up in the tower suite with a murphy bed. I had heard those could be uncomfortable,but let me tell you the one in the Marriott, was more comfortable than most king size beds we have stayed in at other hotels. Definitely recommend this hote

The hotel is located in a nice quiet area and by nice restaurants. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful stuff Hotel itself is very historical and interior will take you at least a century back. I liked that the rooms were spacious and more like a small apartment. I
liked the made to order omelets and breakfast buffet and the early
evening drinks. Hurricanes are now a favorite. The staff was very
