  This is one of the cheapest locations I stayed in NY, where even the YMCA (where they treat you like a dog) charges 119 USD per night. For less than half that price this is a perfectly located, clean and efficient hostel with friendly staff. Only 2 blocks from Penn station and the air train to JFK! - The location was great & quiet.   The apartment was in a stellar location conv to everything Manhattan, Time Square, Shopping, food, subway. Was very private apartment big enough for the group of four and maybe two more. All amenities were provided including toliet paper, glasses, plates, dish washer, stove everything. Value was great for a two night stay. Will visit again.

  We live 60 plus miles from the city and have come in often for weekends and stayed in numerous hotels over the years.
