  I stayed at College Inn only one night and I had another reservation for the other two nights that I stayed in Seattle. I had not tried a hotel with shared bathroom and I was not very OK with that. I really recommend it. In fact I tried to cancel my booking for the rest of my stay which I couldn't since I had to pay canc - College Inn is a European style hotel (ie. Hostel) with sinks in the rooms, and shared washrooms down the hall. The hotel is in a beautiful historic building in the middle of the University district of Seattle, and is adjacent to campus, therefor very convenient for visting students or attending university events.

Even though you are in the middle of the city, setting gives a lodge type feel. It was remarkably quiet at night and I slept with the windows open. Before my conference, I started each morning with a walk around the 18 acre park-like grounds. The staff was top-notch. Friendly and eager to please. I will definitely be back.

  We used the complimentary shuttle service almost everyday, and they were always easy to book and we were usually the only ones on the shuttle. They got us to many places in the U District, as well as to bus stops that would take us to further tourist attractions. You could smell the lemon fresh scent and there was no dust anywhere. I liked how big the room was and that it was a full suite. I even liked the old fashioned fridge that had to be from the 40'S. The furniture was outdated but in good shape. They at least had an updated tv. Free parking and the neighborhood was much better than what you'd find most budget places in.

  Very nice & welcoming place, friendly and very helpful staff. We had a problem with our (shared) bathroom - we were moved to a different (bigger) room for free without any discussions. Every room is different (we got a little tour at our departure), we felt very comfortable during our stay. Breakfast was big and tasty.   This is a great place to stay. It's a bit away from the city center but they have a shuttle every 30 mins to and from several places in the town ands are flexible about pick up points if they are able to be. Very helpful, professional s - Location was convenient and they had a free area shuttle. Rooms were fairly large and they had 2 sinks, one inside the bathroom, 1 outside. Breakfast was great and the room where it was served was very nice with a great view. Parking garage and free onsite parking was great. Beds were comfortable. Every room has a microwave, small refrigerator and coffee maker. Area shuttle drops you off at Seattle Center, Pikes Place Market or Pioneer Square.

  Great location by the waterfront (Lake Union South). Very easy access to I5. Very quiet rooms. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was ideal for our family. The separate bedrooms are either side of the living room/kitchen. Great breakfast, nice (smallish) swimming pool and very quick and easy to get downtown via trolleybus.   Staff who were all so pleasant and very attentive. A request for extra towels and pillows was fulfilled within minutes. The sofabed in the room to accommodate a larger family was excellent. It was the only hotel in Seattle we found that didn't require booking two rooms, therefore making the visit affordable.
