The hotel was really nice and clean, the staf was very friendly - they allowed us ti check in already at noon without being alerted beforehand. The breakfast is simple but fine, the afternoon tea and sherry enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and furnished with taste, the beds are comfortable. this was a pleasant experience. The location is very good, near the Union square and the Grace cathedral, with many options to dine around.

This hotel is "top drawer" all the way! - The hotel was quite grand, and very luxerious in the common areas. The location worked well for us, as we seemed to be no more than a 10 minute cab ride from just about every where we went. The view from our Tower room was the clincher. We had a beautiful bay view.

Gorgeous. The bedroom was lovely and the bed and bedding was extremely comfortable. Amenities in the bathroom were very nice quality as well

I really liked the décor - based on a poster for the film Vertigo. The emphasis on white made the interior look very clean and fresh. Our bed was very comfortable and we were particularly grateful to be able to take off the duvet and have just the lovely sheets and cotton blanket. Good location just a walk from Union Square.
