  As an alternative to high priced hotels, the Oasis just can't be beat. It's located near two T-stops making it easy to get downtown. The staff is fantastic - helpful and accommodating.   The location was excellent, easily walkable to loads of super places around Boston. Didn't have a car so couldn't comment on the parking, but would book if possible as there was very little space nearby. Was greeted warmly by the friendly staff. For the location you'd be hard pressed to find another hotel for anywhere near this sort of price (double - It was great value for the money. We had a room on the top floor with a huge balcony looking out over the city. The room was clean and comfortable with a private bath. There was a microwave and cupboards with dishes. Very convenient. The guest house itself was beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. We were able to park our car right behind the guest house in the public alleyway. It is also near to a subway stop.

  I was grateful for the free parking, and being able to extend that until my conference ended. The room was very comfortable. The location was great, and I had not expected that of Brookline.   I love the location and the ambiance, the house reminds me of home because I used to live in this neighborhood when I lived in Brookline in the 60's and 70's so it was like going home.
