The hotel is in a great location on Lincoln Highway and close to tanger outlets and is a short drive away from the Rockvale Outlets. There are many restaurants on Lincoln Highway such as Red Robin, Texas Roadhouse and Cracker Barrel. The hotel is very close to Dutch Wonderland. Our hotel room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The beds were soft and plush and very comfortable. The wi-fi connection in our room was strong. The breakfast in the morning was limited. 所有评语 » We loved the cleanliness of this Inn. Typically you will find clean rooms while traveling. Something you 'don't' always find though is cleanliness on route to your room. Well, this place was the exception to that. From entering through the door of the Inn, to walking through the halls, to using the elevator, to using the stairs . . . this Inn was clean. Also, I must say that the Inn staff and housekeeping crew were extremely kind, considerate, and informative about the surrounding area. Another. The staff was exceptional, very friendly and accommodating to any of our needs. The room was great, more than enough pillows and towels. The pool/hot tub area was standard size and had more than enough towels for everyone. This is the first time I've ever seen a 24/7 free juice, coffee and tea area, and the free popcorn in the evening was a nice to have! I am traveler who's very invested in Marriott's and went out of my normal routine and took a chance on this place. The Country Inn of Lancaste. The Country Inn at Lancaster was charming. The location was very convenient to attractions, shopping, restaurants, etc. It was nice to have the restaurant on site also. The complimentary breakfast and 24- hour coffee, tea and juices was a great extra! Everything was very clean and neat and the staff was friendly and helpful. When we visited it would have been too cold to swim outdoors, but with the glass-enclosure we enjoyed the warmth of the sun while we swam and relaxed by the pool. Would rec. Very nice room decor. Lancaster County feel with Americana style quilts on beds and exposed faux timber beam on ceiling. Rustic feel porch with rocking chairs were also a nice touch. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent, very welcoming and accommodating. Ample choices of food for continental breakfast and a great staff member that was alert to see when the food and drinks needed to be replenished. We would definitely stay here again. Great location right in the middle of whatever you're there for, outlets right across the highway, country shoppes just minutes away. Indoor pool & hot tub on premises. Coffee & juice was available all hours in the lobby area. Internet access was no problem at all. We will definitely be staying here again!!. This place was wonderful. Nice place staff was very nice and apologetic. My wife could not tolerate the cleaning chemicals they used. They refunded our money with out a quibble and we found another place. They had a very large pool which was also well maintained. My granddaughter had a great time in the pool. The staff was very friendly and the room was very, very clean. I have worked in housekeeping for a hotel so therefore I am very picky about my rooms but this was excellent, no complaints. Although a nice to have, the wifi signal was weak. The only tiny "complaint" was that there were no lounge type chairs by the pool. Couldn't really say these were things we didn't like but could have used a mini-fridge in the room & the included breakfast, which is a nice idea, is really very minimal, as is the dining area, but these would not at all keep us from staying here again. We really enjoyed our stay!. I thought for the continental breakfast, they could have had muffins, maybe a waffle maker..but they did have a variety of foods to choose from..this would not sway me from going back. I have no negative comments about this motel. Basic breakfast. Hard mattresses. Noise from next door rooms, slamming doors and running kids in the corridor, due to thin walls and wooden floor. Not quite after 10.30pm (weekend). The "save water" shower took forever to get the soap off and there was no sink outside the bathroom. Can't think of one thing we did not like!. Strong cleaning chemical smell. That there was not a Fitness Center on site. I really missed having one. I know there was on across the streed for 5.00/day but not the same convenience. I cannot answer that question because my experience was wonderful. I didn't like the menu in the restaurant much at all. I didn't like some of the food. I would offer some other menu items. At night on Sunday we arrived late and the waitress/hostess was not happy to see us. But she did put a smile on her face and we did stay and eat. The decor was dated, but seemed appropriate for that area. room had a slight musty smell; High speed internet was off for about two hours when we wanted it-desk clerk did fix it when we asked if there was a problem. He wasn't aware of any problem. Rooms seemed a little dark...and the breakfast was limited. I couldn't say that I didn't like anything. For me it was perfect. It is located right on the highway. The traffice light was not working and exiting was difficult. If you get room facing Route 30 and you like the windows open for fresh air, the noise from the truck traffic is somewhat loud. Next time we will ask for a room on the other side of the hall but we WILL be back, you can count on that. We can't find anything wrong with the Country Inn of Lancaster. Nothing. Would definitely stay there again. It's in a very busy part of Lancaster, and I wondered how the Amish could be nearby. But they were. But the place has its own rustic feeling, like being in the countryside, or mountains. Breakfast area could have bee monitored better in the back building. Some items needed refills. Selection of food was good for a quick breakfast. Would have liked a coffee pot in the room for a relaxing cup of tea or a morning wake up before heading to your restaurant. The pub next door was too slow for us as travelers. We were so busy that we did not have time to spend at the pool. Not the hotels fault. breakfast was a little on the skimpy side not much to choose from. We were not happy when two bus loads of teenage kids pulled in at the hotel on our second night. We were not able to use the pool or even relax in the lobby because of these children running around without supervision. We think we should of been notified when making our reservations. Limited breakfast choice, but the do keep the room prices reasonable, so its ok. Some of the keys didnt work or stopped working. Hard Beds. Room needed a little TLC. One room had a musty smell that we couldn't get rid of. We only stayed one night but it would have been problematic if we were there longer. Pool room was too hot. Pool itself was too cold to swim in but room was ridiculously hot to the point we had to leave because it was too warm. We were in the pool area at night. It was 38 degrees at night. I was not comfortable with the beds at all. They were very low to the ground and not very plush. WiFi problems extremely frustrating, practically unusable due to the Netgear router not being managed or updated often enough. Pool had no changing room, no bathroom, not good if you're in a unconnected building. Uncomfortable mattresses. Restaurant is not inviting so having it on grounds does not help. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, not much choice in a small cramped room. Nothing really to complain about.
