As a budget-friendly motel, Montreal Motel is one of Lake George best-kept secret. For the price, if you don't need the amenities, then this place has done justice. The room we stayed at was recently renovated (new furnitures, flat-screen TV, strong WI-FI signals). Love the outdoor grills and the pool. The owner, Rob, was soooo helpful & accommodating. He is definitely your go-to-guy. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The motel is well-kept.

Pool looks great even though we did not have time to use it. Also saw the grill near the pool area, a plus! Big TV. I liked the personal attention that began when I made the call for my reservation and which followed through during checkin and my stay. I also like having a clean, well-kept-up room and the friendly staff. Motel Montreal fit the bill. Though the rooms are small and dated you can't beat MM for price and friendliness of staff. The location is also excellent. We'd definitley stay again. I that the Montreal is eco-friendly, which is in keeping with the entire Lake George area. It was great for folks on a budget. Rob and his staff were great and knew the area. Location was wonderful. Close to a public beach on Lake George. Walk to shop and restaurant. Budget friendly. We only stayed one night so it was fine. Great traditional Motel on the edge of Lake George village, so away from the noise. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and good value. People were very accommodating. The facility was very clean. Great that it had a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. the pool having a refrigerator and microwave in the room closeness to restaurants and child friendly activities. The price and location. Courtoisie, situation. convenient location. It was clean. Our room was a leveled pool-side room. There was nothing we did not like. It was perfect!. The room smelled musty when we first opened the door; like years of cigarette smoke embedded in the walls; air freshener or potpourri would have helped. The desk is placed in the corner where there is no outlet, we have to sit in the bed to use the laptop. Maybe just re arranging will do. I am completely satisfied with my experience. There was nothing to dislike. The room was as described and pretty much what I expected. Room could use updating. smoking at the pool! yuck. letsbookhotel.com indicated a "kitchenette" as an amenity, but the room contained only fridge and microwave. the rooms were little small. poll area small but it was very clean and conveince from room. Nothing to do with Motel Montreal but it was rainy and cold. No negatives about the motel itself. A little expensive (but it was a Holiday weekend). The beds where a little too hard, but for a short stay fine ..... Needs a little updating, but it was still clean. Not a huge deal for us. nothing. none. towels. small room. Mattresses a bit worn out but not necessarily unpleasant. rooms too small. not handicap friendly view was no painting parking needs improvement. rooms very small pillows flat. The picture is outdated. This hotel, while relatively clean, needed some major updating. It was run-down. Rooms were not right staff lied about being able to fix your mistakes just not a good experince. room was not well cleaned. half finished water bottle in room, threadbare towels, reusable bathroom cups, not sure how clean, really poor mattress. No one orientated us as to how to get ice, parking was spotty,coffee was like colored water,bed spread was full of holes, bed sheets were beyond there life span. everything was old,old,old in need of replacement. Never again.
