The hotel lies next to Harbour with day round fishing by the locals. When the season is right you can see large fish jumping from the water. On the other side of the harbour is the lighthouse which was built in 1866. The lobby of the hotel is very spacious and staff was friendly. There is a large free parking for hotel guests. The room was nice with a large TV and a nice clean bathroom with a tub. When you ask for a room on one of the upper floors (4,5) on the side of the harbour you get a nice.
所有评语 » My girlfriend and I came in desperate for a place to lay our heads. Other hotels wanted to double charge us for coming in at 5am. And would still want us out by noon. We had just gotten off the road, not booked else wear because we didn't plan on stopping. This was the only hotel in the area that tried to help weary travelers. The staff was extremely helpful and gave us a gorgeous view of the lake. A special shout out to Renee Harbin for being so courteous and hospitable. She is a wonderful sta. 1) Lake Michigan right outside the door. 2) Pretty view. 3) Nice restaurants close by. 4) Fairly easy to get to. 5) Breakfast was very good and not the same everyday. 6) All the staff were very friendly. 7) The staff did make an adjustment to our bill due to the construction going on in the hotel with no pool/hot tub. The room was really nice and we loved the view from our room . We also liked the breakfast. It was a nice get away even though the spa was not working and the pool as small. Location of the hotel was good. Luckily some of the rooms had just been renovated and we stayed in them. The staff were very helpful and the facilities were excellent on the whole. Located Harbor side.and close to restaurants and transportation. The location was nice and the view of the harbor was great. The staff , the room , the breakfast , the location. The location was beautiful. the location was amazing. Everything was perfect. The free breakfast was a great deal for out of Towner's who don't know the area and did not care to leave the hotel for breakfast. harbor-side view, lots of shops/restaurants nearby. Harbor view was nice. It was cheap. Breakfast close to family. Nice view of the harbor. Being close to downtown activities. Location. Breakfast was poor with a limited selection of not so exciting food. For the price paid they could do better. No fridge in the room but you can get one if you prefer. Other than that, nothing. 1) Parking was a problem. 2) Pool / hot tub were under construction. 3) Bathroom was "tight" with no counter space. 4) We had 4 people in the room for 3 days, but never had 4 towels!! We were only given 3 towels and one day had absolutely NO towels or washcloths. We had to ask for towels every day!! 5) The elevator was very confusing to guests. It went to 1st floor and 2nd floor but the lobby was on 1 1/2 floor and could only be reached by stairs. The pool was like a kiddie pool only 3 feet deep. And the spa was not working at this time so we were a little dissapointed because we really wanted to relax and this was the way we were planning on relaxing. Noisy for most of the afternoon...construction. The air conditioning in my room (504) was noisy - I needed to turn it off at night to sleep. The water pressure and temperature in the room was absolutely horrible! One second, you were fine, then next being scalded, and then turning into an ice cube. Certainly not the way to wake up refreshed. There were No negative about our stay. the construction. it smelled mouldy. the breakfast was okay but nothing special. Breakfast burritos were bad. The beds were too small. My fiancé is over 6 ft tall and it was difficult for him to get comfortable in a full size bed. Maybe have the option of a king and a full for a couple with a young child over the age of 5. needs updating, staff didn't record our late check out (after confirmation). Pool and spa were closed for reconstruction. Price was too high for the limited amenities. My husband Dan- stated that the front desk person (woman) was quite rude- which suprised him.. They charge you extra $100 when check in for incidentals. The spa was broken. Rooms were old. No/little parking configured weird hard to find room first night. Being upcharged to move into the room I originally booked, no warning that the pool was closed, dust everywhere, had to go to the third floor to get back down to our room on the first floor, only one garbage can in the room, only one roll of toilet paper, tags from the store still on light fixtures, every channel on the tv was fuzzy front desk people were unknowledgable. The entire room was dirty. Will never stay there again. Would suggest anyone interested to find another place to stay.
