  We loved getting up in the morning and have coffee on the lanai watching the turtles. Bruce, the concierge, was extremely helpful. Everything is provided, except food (that includes the beach towels). No air conditioning, but with the sea breezes and fans, you actually get cool at night. Our unit was on the second floor with a panoramic view of the ocean and the island of Molokai overlooking two beautiful swimming pools. The turtles were seen everyday nearvthe rocky shoreline. We enjoyed the soft music that played each day and the gorgeous sunsets from our lanai.

  The location is great, having the Whalers village right next door was so convenient with lots of places to eat out. The beach was lovely, very clean and long enough to walk daily to keep the holiday kilo's down. We loved our unit, it was spacious and comfortable, it overlooked the village and had a great sea view. However as its right on the beach, the ocean and local sea turtles make up for it. The beach is spacious and not crowded. Room is modern, with everything you need. We loved out stay here.

  The location is beyond belief. The views are amazing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the entire hotel has a nice easy, non-pretentious vibe that fits authentic Hawaii. We felt at home and the unit provided everything that we needed. We loved that Mahana had the Expedio desk with the helpful Susan Ramos who assisted us in planning our tours. The Mahana is just 5-7 mins walk to the supermarket which is a plus and is just near the shuttle bus stop.

  The swimming pool complex was amazing and well-suited for both a 1-year-old and an 8-year-old. A great place for a multi-generational family vacation...perfect for families traveling with the grandparents. Everyone had fun! Exceptional staff. The hotel is right on the beach and a very short walk to Whaler's Village (a shopping mall). Since then there has been quite a bit of development of other hotels in the area since then but there is still a feeling of space because of the surrounding golf courses.
