My husband and I were in Houston to see our son in a show at TUTS. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable, the staff friendly, breakfasts great and the hotel within walking distance of the theatre. Would definitely stay there again!
Really smart front desk staff. Clear answers to everything. Free glass of wine around dinner time, free cookies before bed. Nice. I loved that there was original art on every floor. Nicely appointed, super comfortable rooms. I arrived a day late, as my original flight was snowed out. I fully expected to have to pay for that night, but they didn't charge me. Very classy all the way.
The staff were extremely nice and polite. The room was clean and comfortable. It was very relaxing. It's close to a lot of place's to go to.
They gave my original room to someone else. Thank goodness they had left the room when I walked in. I wonder how did my key worked to open the door if my room was already being used? All the power in the hotel went out.

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was very nice, (21st floor) and had a great view to the northeast.

My dad and I stayed here for 2 astro games. Hotel is close to everything downtown, so you can easyly walk to the ballpark or restaurants. The hotel rooms ate nice and comfy and clean.
Parking is like 30 bucs for the weekend.

The bathroom sink was very poorly set for short people. the refrig. was so full of items for them to make money on, there was not room for a few of my things
I love the modern feel of this hotel mixed with the remnants of its history. The room was spacious and beautiful - the bathroom was so pretty with the big garden tub. I would stay here every day if I could!

Walking distance to restaurants and theater. Nice contemporary decor.
Modern renovation is quite nice but showing slight wear here and there. Worn wood, splash stains on walls near sink. Not a deal breaker assuming it is kept in check.
Friendly staff, big and well appointed room. Loved the bedtime cookies and milk and the complementary breakfast had a good choice.

We love the central location, super friendly staff, well appointed rooms, manager's hour, cookies, and big breakfast. They were very helpful in figuring out how to get to the airport while avoiding the traffic/congestion for the downtown parade. We plan to stay here whenever we are in Houston.
The elevators were a bit slow and it would have been nice to have some bar food to have along with the drinks during the manager's hour.

They sent me up champagne.
My coffee maker was broken and they never sent me a new one. The bed was hard. The linens here scratchy and pilly. The pillows were awful and we both had neck aches. It was not worth the money at all.
Too many opinionated people. Service was great, bar was good. Better places within a block. No one likes rude people that think they're better than others, it's a very negative aspect!
The location
We checked in and 2 hours later had talked to 5 different people and never received our luggage which made us late for the event we were in town for. On top of not getting our luggage the front desk was terribly rude when we became frustrated over the time it was taking to get out luggage. We called room service on several occasions and got no answer and never made contact with them.
