  My partner and I stay at The New Otani Kaimana for 2 nights early April 2013. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When we checked in the lady was really friendly and we were upgraded to an ocean view room free of charge which was great. It has it's own beach which is quieter and nicer than the main section of Waikiki beach. The locals hang out around h - This boutique hotel is "just right". Not too big, not too small, not too fancy, not too plain: relaxed, casual elegance. The food is excellent. Most of the staff have been there for years. The hotel is at the far end of Waikiki Beach, next to the Nanitorium, across from Kapiolani Park and close to Diamond Head--in short, away from the madness of Waikiki but within walking distance.

  Free shuttle to and from airport is great. Our room was neat and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Liked the fact that there was a laundry room on our floor ( we did one load of wash), and for future reference noted the microwave, empty refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. We would definately stay here again and will highly recommend it to our friends. We walked thru the Best Western but preferred your hotel, less busy and more personal and friendly.   We liked the price and that the rooms were spacious. We loved having two balconies and that the room had dishes and a kitchen if we wanted to cook. The location was close to the strip and trolley stop right in front of the door. There was also a convenient ABC in the lobby.   Stayed here for 1 night just to sleep after a late night flight in before moving onto the beach front. Staff were friendly and offered us a free upgrade. Room was very clean though dated. Although away from the beach it is really only a few minutes away and you can still see the ocean.
