We were there for an 18-person family reunion. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs with regard to meals, rooms, and the like. The rooms were generally comfortable, although the sofa beds were less so. The pool and hot tub were very well maintained and the children loved them. The lodge was close enough to town so that we could get what we needed quite easily, and it was only a short frive to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance.

All the rooms have a different floor plan as well but, the caretaker was more than happy to take care of us and even lowered our rate!. This lodge is a highlight of our trip to the Rocky Mountains. It is up above the tourist mayhem, but we walked down. Don't miss the wild flower garden and the river trail in town. What a wonderful place to acclimate before heading up to the tundra!. the pool was aweseme, scenery was great, rooms were lovely, the community area was wonderful, staff who welcomed us when we checked in at night was excellent. The suite cabins in the back were awesome. Secluded and comfortable. We even had deer out our back window in the morning. Ann at the front desk was the most polite employee ever !!!! Beautiful location over looking Estes Park. the accommodations were fantastic had everything we could ask for and we loved the balcony view. 1. Staff was friendly and accommodating. 2. Beds were comfortable and clean. Beautiful Historic Hotel. Great Location. Nice Beds And Bedding. Clean. Great outdoor pool and hot tub with spectacular views if the mountains. Nice hot tub, small pool. Beautiful setting. Friendly, efficient staff. Nice location and atmosphere. Feels like an mountain lodge. Good location and a nice place to stay. Historic building, close to downtown. Some of the sofa beds were uncomfortable; some did not like the forcefulness of the shower flow, and some would have liked more food service in the hotel itself. I would have liked to have stayed much longer !. We neither smoke or have pets and the topic was gone over twice. However, nothing was said about getting ahold of someone after say 10:00pm if a problem was to arise...which it did !!!. no restaurant in the off season. 1. Carpets were out of style and apparently old. 2. Microwave Oven had very limited capability. No one From DiamondResorts Responded To Our Inquiry / Request Through letsbookhotel.com or a Follow Up call To Diamond Resorts. Also, There Was No Air Conditioning In The Room! !. Bed could have been firmer for our liking. A little noisy in the room under the dining room, but not bad after 9:00. Little outdated. The temperature in our room was 85 degrees when we checked in and it took about 2 hours to get it cooled down by opening the windows. The thermostat was set by the previous occupant or housekeeping to over 80 degrees. What a waste of energy. internet intermintent; difficult road access, small rooms, expensive food in dining area, parking a challenge, weekend noise at midnight, poor location for walking.
