This motel is in a good location at the east end of the main street through town - close to shopping, dining and Mesa Verde National Park. The free continental breakfast was better than I expected for a motel in this price range. They offered fresh fruit, juice, coffee & tea and a good assortment of bread, bagels and waffles for toasting. They also had several kinds of cereal available for the kids. The breakfast room was small but cute and very clean with an attentive front desk clerk keep.
所有评语 » The room was very clean and they allowed pets. The rooms were back off the highway, whereas other motel/hotels in this area were not. The benches outside the rooms and table and chairs on the grassy area outside were a nice plus in the evening. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The place is very close to Wallmart, so you can go shopping, or you can buy some local products at the reception. Ideal for everyone visiting Mesa Verde, the visitor centre is 10 minutes drive. Our room was great! Travel to events from hotel was very convenient. There was an incident at check in with the room assignment. Once the new mgmt. Found out about it, they rectified the situation to our satisfaction. Staff so helpful and polite. Tired in places but clean with coffee in the room as well as the reception area. Good continental breakfast with fresh fruit. Good location for Mesa Verde. The staff were very friendly, it had all conveniences necessary ie fridge microwave and a pool for a very reasonable price. Staff were very helpful and very pleasant. This hotel was very clean and a good deal for the money! Jimmers is an restaurant with awesome barbecue close to motel. A very clean room, excellent staff. very comfortable. Nice out door pool. Close access to several beautiful sites. Friendliness, clean, great location, liked the grounds, and family enjoyed the pool. I can't compare it to the other hotel's in the area; however as a place to sleep and move on it was suffecient. The check-in/out staff were friendly. The hotel did meet my expectations. The staff member who worked in the morning was extremely kind and seemed to truly care how our stay was going. the only positives I can state were that the staff was friendly and the place was clean. The hotel is way to reach. It has a large parking area. Easy to get to. Price. Nothing!. The food preparation area was a little bit small so I had to be patient while making my breakfast but that gave me a chance to visit with the other guests ;-) I was surprised that there was no blanket on the bed, just the sheet and the bedspread. A lightweight blanket would have been nice. The continental breakfast foods they offered was bad. Repackaged donuts in baggies, mini bagels but no cream cheese, a pitcher of OJ, tea and coffee. They also don't have complementary shampoo anymore. I had to buy some and the soaps have been replaced with dispensers, which I didn't mind. The breakfest was good, but a bit poor. I can honestly say that there was nothing we didn't like and we would stay there again. Did not mention in advertisement the availability of their hot tub / pool, so I didn't bring my suit!. first time I had an east facing window and it awoke me earlier than I wanted. Nothing. nothing. Nothing really. Wasn't sure what to expect but very pleased. Mean breakfast. Pool out of use, Poorly designed washbasin / taps -too close to basin to use without wetting surrounding worktop,. it was all pretty good. We didn't like that they declared online that they had hair dryer and toiletries. That is not true! No toiletries (only liquid of unknown nature in dispenser) and no hair drier in the room! Does not worth the money spent. Breakfast was not very appealing. Wifi was always disconnected. Breakfast. Either do it or don't. A sort of, kind of breakfast is a waste. Know your local breakfast houses and recommend them to travelers. It's good for the community and it helps the travelers locate the most important meal of the day and enjoy the start of the day. A day that starts good usually go's good. Carpets needed to be replaced (felt a little grimey under my feet). 1. lousy bed 2. paper thin walls---------way too much noise from other rooms 3. parking lot is next to windows of the rooms-----nothing but noise here also----did not plan on waking at 5:00am !. There was what looked like a new dual toilet roll holder installed almost directly in front of toilet seat. You needed to be a contortionist to sit comfortably on toilet. What were they thinking! The fact that there were only 2 bath towels and no hair dryer could have been acceptable, but the toilet paper holder would keep us from visiting this motel again. A refrigerator was listed on the ad on the internet and was not there when we arrived. We had unpacked everything. We were told to get the refrigerator we would need to move to another room. The shower curtain was taken down and not replaced when the maids came in. Needs some repairs AC had a problem and upgrades like microwave would be nice. The room was nice.The room was a non smoking room, BUT it was so STRONG with cigarette smell, we went to the store and bouhgt room spray for smoke oders. The covers on the beds and the pillows smell like smoke too.. Pool and Hot tub not open. Bed/ mattress, breakfast. The breakfast is very poor. It could be improved. No hair dryer in the room. The morning i could not find anyone at the lobby. I did not know were to leave the key and how to check out. Advertised free breakfast and then didn't open at 6:30 am. Called number on lobby door and management said would be there in 5 min. And waited another 20 min. Had to buy our own breakfast because needed to get going on our trip. Check in was very slow. Only one person in front of us and it took about 30 min. Only had one of two reservations upon arrival. No bar soap or shampoo Only small flat pillows One of rooms had a bad odor Burned or frozen in shower as others used water Ad said free breakfast - none offered, office was closed until 7:30 a.m. Messed up my reservations. Rooms were run down. Had small hand towels for showers. Non-working ice machine. swimming pool dirty, mattress and pilow bad quality, noise of next room very present,. mattress and pillow bad quality, noisy in the room, breakfast is poor and no room available in this small area, swimming pool dirty. This hotel is banked owned, and that should of been disclosed prior to our stay. Nothing has been replaced in 30+ years, and we should of been paid to stay there. The condition of the furniture and beds is appalling.
