Staff was pleasant. Room looked out into courtyard were indoor pool area was. Beds were super soft and fluffy pillows that you usually do not find in hotels. A big Hats off to this hotel for this. Great location for visiting college campus. Liked the location right at Clemson University. It was clean and the staff was knowledgeable and pleasant. Rates were affordable. Had plenty of hot water and basics such as that. They did have a continental breakfast available too.
所有评语 » This was obviously a very, very nice hotel in it's day. I will stay there anytime I'm in the area. Probably the best value I've stayed at in a long time. Considering every other hotel was over $200 for a night, the $99 price was affordable and the hotel design great. They were able to get me the two rooms adjoining and the staff was so nice. I loved the inside of the hotel. Location. ∙Price, compared to other hotel in the vicinity. ∙Staff members were very pleasant. ∙Continental breakfast, while somewhat limited, was very convenient and appreciated. Staff was friendly. Atrium area was nice. clean comfortable room; reasonable price. Price was good. Good location. This place is a dump! Pealing paint on the outside and inside. In desperate need of paint everywhere. The location to the campus is a nice long walk, but doable. So the only thing that this has going for it is the location, but the Comfort Inn is across the street and so location isn't everything when you could get a better room with same distance to campus. The Staff was very friendly. Inn was in a good location. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Location was only positive thing. location during football season. Price and location. The location. nothing. Absolutely terrible hotel. Do not book. Proximity to Clemson College. Could use a little tlc decor inside and out starting to look old and worn. I think this place could sing if it were given just a little boost. Hotel restaurant was closed our entire stay would have been nice to catch a bite to eat. No mini fridge or alarm clock. Overall however I liked this place. Again just a little love could really amp this place up. The property is old and it needs some updates. Capital expenditures are tough but just small things like new room number signs and restroom signage would be a start. Some were broken and handwritten. It was nice but dated. The hotel seemed in need of some refurbishing. Hallways had musky smell and the breakfast lacked eggs and meats. Power was out in entrance and bathroom. the gap under the door was so big it sounded like the people across the hall were in the room with us. very noisy. needs to be fixed up on out side onyour web site looks are decieving very nice on inside and good breakfast need a restraunt and bar with entertainment better locks on the out side door. ∙Hotel interior is outdated, carpet is worn and wrinkled, doors are marred and in serious need of repair and painting. ∙The Air Conditioner unit in my room was dripping water onto the carpet (and obviously had been for some time), causing a very large area of the carpet to become wet. Once outside of the atrium area...hallways smell wet, musty, smoky. Outside looks scary. had to wait while checking out for desk clerk to finish talking with co-workers; outside appearance of hotel needs improvement; side parking lot very dark. You could hear the rooms next to you. Lobby had no heat. No soap or coffee was provided the second day. 1. breakfast 2. smoke-filled room. This place is a dump! Pealing paint on the outside and inside. Room smelled of mold. Put ac on high, so we didn't have any issue. This hotel is not associated with the University. They have been sued over the use of this name but won the lawsuit. Do not ever stay here. The conference rooms looked mothballed so the name is used to confuse travelers (like me). Air was broke. I was told @ check in that it was being worked on & would be fixed in a few hours. At 11:30 pm I had to go out and purchase a fan. First room was not clean & had dirty sheets, baby hair bows on floor & carpet was wet& musky. After talking with another lady staying there the air was broke the prior weekend. The University Inn is in desperate need of tlc!. The website photos are misleading. This hotel was a total dive. It is run down, grimy and grungy. The paint in the doors going into and out of the lobby was grimy and gross. Our room smelled badly of mold and mildew. The wall paper was bubbled and falling off the walls inside our room. The carpet in our room felt damp and looked dirty. There were guys in the parking lot that looked like they were casing the joint. I would never stay here again. The place smelled terrible in the hallways and the carpet and poorly kept. Wallpaper coming off walls and very run down. Place was run down, needed repairs in lobby, halls, carpet in room, molded smell, breakfast not much there. No one was at desk when I checked out. just left keys on counter. holes in bedding. Facilities were dirty. Ac not working. Pool was unhealthy. Terrible customer service. It is a sad piece of real estate that with the proper management and team could glean millions just due the location to Clemsom University. It was a property of neglect and pieced together by the facade of its location. The rooms sell as there are very few places to lodge in the area. I would sleep in my car before I would sleep there. Sad. I dish I had the money to purchase, renovate and give the college patents a true value and excellent place to stay while visiting their child. Facility needed some serious maintenance updating. Towels were off very cheap quality, TV old style and window treatments need replacing. The free breakfast was unacceptable. Needs updating ... Carpet felt dirty. Towels and linen dingy. Amenities are from 19th century. Nothing worked properly and got switched through 3 different rooms and offered no compensation. Do not book this hotel. Being given keys to a room under construction at 2am. Exterior door key security system not working. Tv not working. Wallpaper repaired with packing tape. Generaly run down property in need of a complete remodel. not clean ac did not cool. Rooms were so bad I moved to another hotel. I'm 53 and travel frequently: I have never done that before.
