I appreciate great customer service, which is what we received from every staff member...Becky at the front desk and Domingo the head chef went above and beyond to make not only us, but every guest feel special... I would recommend this hotel because of the Great Customer Service. When the remodel is complete it will be even better! 所有评语 » We loved our stay especially the fireplace and the size of the room. The breakfast were fresh and satisfied all taste. A couple we were with had to have a jump start on their car battery and an associate came and helped us till we were able to get it jumped. Without his assistance our friends would not have gotten their car started. Thanks so much,. My wife and I made a spur of the moment change to our travel plans and stayed at the Pelican Inn & Suites for a night on a recent trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco. The stay ended up being the highlight of our trip! The staff was courteous and knowledgable. The amenities were romantic and inviting. Overall a great experience. Everything from the massive suite with step down sitting area with beautiful gas fire place who's fire lit at the touch of a button on the colder evenings. The friendly staff and the free wine and cheese in the evenings to the substantial buffet breakfast . The position overlooking the beach and all for a very reasonable price. They gave us a free upgrade to a partial ocean view king room The view was great. The bedroom and bathroom were both large and roomy. The breakfast buffet and afternoon cheese, dessert and wine selection was full of tasty choices. The staff was on top of any requests and very friendly. My husband enjoyed the swimming pool. . Spacious, clean, modern and well equipped room. Extremely friendly and helpful staff (particularly Michael and Meegan). Decent breakfast. Complimentary wine and cheese during late afternoon excellent. Great location for walk along boardwalk or short drive to Cambria village. On honeymoon - very pleased. Highly recommended. What a fabulous place! Our room was exquisite, especially after Michael, (yes, he does walk on water) upgraded us to a front ocean view room with a balcony. This place was perfect from the amazing view to the exquisite linens and furnishings and food. We'll be coming back here often!!. The great and helpful staff. The location was convenient since I was making a trip to Hearst Castle. ...it was very close. I had a partial ocean view with a balcony and a fireplace inside. I also enjoyed the continental breakfast....very good food selection. The hotel and the area has a really pleasant vibe. Very relaxed and welcoming. The room was spacious, well laid out and very comfortable. The hot tub and complimentary wine added to the experience. Beautiful views too. A great place to stop. Great complimentary full breakfast and wine/cheese in evening. Customer service was great! Nicely decorated. Awesome location. They gave us an upgrade to ocean view for our anniversary. Definitely would stay here again. Only an overnight stay so no time to fully investigate the facilities. Room was comfortable with partial sea views. As a return visitor, we were given an upgrade to a room with ocean view and patio directly across from the ocean! Loved it! Staff helped with winery visits, phone calls, even indigestion! Good breakfast. They upgraded our room to a full ocean view. Gave me a phone charger cause mine didn't work. Reccomended nice places to eat out. Helped out with a phone call about the birth of our 8th great grandchild. You can't beat the location. Directly across from Moonstone Beach and walking distance to two restaurants make this a delightful get-a- way! Staff is very friendly. Complementary breakfast was great!. Very nice Hotel. Mountain style interiors by the beach. The location of the hotel is just astonishing, it has also all the comforts you'd need to have a relaxing stay. Great breakfast!. the bed was great, the furnishings updated and soothing. The fireplace romantic and just loved the coffee maker too! Full size hair dryer, great amenities. Ocean view was wonderful. Cheese and Wine from 530-730! and you can take it back to your room and enjoy it on the balcony over looking the ocean. Beautiful, quiet, and romantic! I would love to visit again!. The room was very comfortable and clean. The wine tasting was great you could have as much as liked and we took a glass back to our room. The breakfast was also good and plentiful. Breakfast was pleasant surprise. Expected Cambria to be a convenient stopping point, but Pelican Inn (and Cambria) can easily be a BASE from where to explore the central coast. Lovely view from the rooms overlooking the water. Get the king suite with the gas fireplace if possible. Really romantic. And as others have noted - great breakfast. Convenient to Hearst Castle, right o the ocean. We loved the fireplace in the room. The room was beautiful and breakfast was great! A very nice experience. Very up to date. Great guy at desk. I would definitely stay there again and will plan on it. Squeaky bathroom door and the patio screen door on our small balcony was hard to open and close. Upon leaving, we notified the front desk and they took note to contact their maintenance dept. To correct these two problems. Nothing. Nothing!. Unfortunately, there was a major blackout on my stay and there was no backup generators. This was very incovenient. The room was a little warm. When we contacted the front desk, they advised to open our door!? Don't think so. Receptionist who booked us in was rather officious. However the rest of the staff were very pleasant. Nothing. Our stay was too short. Nothing. Not much personality in the room. Although it was clean and spacious, the lighting is not great. Bathroom lighting is poor. A little pricey, but in line with other inns in the area. The bathroom equipment might would from renovation, no elevators to the 2nd floor. a garden or outdoor green area is missing. it would be nice to have breakfast outside watching at the ocean... A skunk had gotten killed on the highway above the hotel and the smell permeated the room and car. Nothing they could do, they contacted correct services and they didn't work on the weekend. *the hotel next door's lights were bright in our room, we had to close the curtains over the sliding door facing the ocean at night. Parking spaces a little light, but having to think real hard to find something no to like about this place. We liked it all. Getting the temperature controlled in our room was a little difficult. N/A. Nothing. rooms small. some of front desk staff not so helpful when room key didn't work on Sunday A.M.. we had to go thru several changes to reenter our room.. I think everything was great.. Asked for some extras from the maid service was ignored although Michael at the desk was great and took care of us. Also noticed bathroom could stand some cleaning behind the commode. Young lady on reception when we arrived was not very pleasant or helpful. Made a bad first impression, but the more mature lady on reception when we booked out next day was very nice. Location of the spa was a little weird. No elevator to the second floor. Difficult to drag bags up the stairs. Our room was still being refurbished but overall very nice. Nothing. Breakfast buffet should go longer for those that like to sleep in. Check-out time should be noon instead of 11am.
