1. My 10 yr old daughter wanted to be in the main hotel building near the hotel. We had reserved a 1 king-sized bed room but they gave us a double at the same price. Excellent courtesy and accomidation 2. Roxie who was the Entertainment Hostess was so kind and amazing when explaining to the older children the pool area rules. 所有评语 » After a long day driving from Yellowstone my daughter was thrilled to get to the hotel. We immediately went to the pool where they have a big screen on the wall to watch TV while swimming. She met a friend and they went to the arcade and played games. Roxy was working as a entertainment coordinator and she was so nice and friendly. She seemed to really keep the kids in line an they seemed to really like her. I have stayed here 3x in the last few months when flying out of Boise to/from trips. I have used their airport shuttle and left my car in their care for several weeks. On my last trip, my plane was delayed 6 hours until late in the night. They were ready for me at 3am. They always have hot tea & coffee in the lobby!. I liked that it was budget friendly, and my party was allowed to split the bill between the 3 of us rather than one person being saddled with an entire bill to get reimbursed for later. The gentleman who checked us in (Josh S.) was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The room was clean, pet friendly and affordable. Overall just a step above super 8 or motel 6, but lesser quality than comfort inn, best western, la quinta. Staff was very friendly and helpful. pool and hot tub, breakfast was very good and reasonable. The toilet handle came off in our room and maintenance was immediately there to fix. Great reponse time. The border in the room was old and separating from the wall in places. What's not to like? It is an older familiar property (thus inexpensive but newly upgraded with room decor & good bedding), close to the airport & freeway but not noisy. I slept thru many departures on this last visit with a late check out due to my grossly late arrival. Very clean & Friendly. I have not been in the pool facilities as my drive home is several hours from Boise. the sliding glass door leading out to the pool/common area had a frame/walls that were ready to come down. If an inebriated guest came along and thought he'd been locked out of his room, pulling on the door handle hard enough (I gave it a tug to make sure the lock engaged and that's how I figured it out. I'm 5'1 and weight 113lbs) will end up literally ripping the door right out of the frame/wall. Thank heavens for the door bar lock. Facilities are pretty old and in need of updating. Toilet handle had to be held down to get toilet to flush. Matress was old and firm with a cheap padded topper on it. Tv was old and small. carpet in the hallway of the anex needs to be shampooed more often. It wasn't specified when I checked in when and what time I needed to check out. I read online the checkout time but the employee didn't ensure that I knew what that time was. I've stayed at this hotel twice, and while the rooms are very nice (definitely 3 star) the building we stayed in both times is separate from the main building and is rather run down. The security door which had a key slot for access was never locked, the carpet, hall paint, etc. was old, etc. There is not sufficient parking near the building. The interior of the main building was much nicer. No negative remarks at this time. No food menu, no paper, room service. Eggs poorly done, no salt pepper,. just about time for a update in decor....starting to appear a tad bit worn and/or outdated. I stayed in two different rooms and both smelled smokey even though the hotel is non-smoking and I signed a special form saying I would not smoke. The second room I stayed in had curtains that did not block all light and there was a streetlamp that shined into my room all night. There are no elevators so you have to drag your luggage up the stairs. The air conditioning was broken in my room so I had to be moved to another room. The tv sits on a low dresser so it is not comfortable to watch while laying in bed. The cleaning staff, at 9:00 am, check at 12:00 noon taps on door and opens it while I was in the bathroom naked and were very loud and noisy in the hall like nobody was in room. Very inconsiderate of guests morning time. We complained to the front desk. Breakfast was not included. I did not have my confirm paper from letsbookhotel.com and I tried to use the hotels internet to pull up the email from you. I recieved no assist from the staff to make sure I got the right price. They were arrogant and "busy" to help. Very upset over the first 20 minutes of my stay. Not much if anything was wrong. No fridge on the king bedroom. On the twin yes. The swimming pool was way salty. no!!. The direction map to our room sucked. Facility is old but keeps clean. nothing in specific as we just stayed there over night. The pool should have been a lot warmer. I wish I had known how far from town it was. I would have preferrred to be closer to town. The heater cycled on and off frequently; air flow may have been blocked by sofa bed. Neighbor's tv was on all night. Need more wall plugs for charging etc. Room was a bit dated. Very old fashioned television. Needs modernization. Couldn't adjust shower head to comfort. The room was a little out of date. We had an old room service menu. no elevator. Wi-fi only in main building. Should be every where. No elevator. We had to muscle our large roller cases up the stairs and then back down. The pool was cold, hot tub was not hot, no microwave or fridge in the room. No fridge in the room. All the rooms need microwaves and refrigerators in them. I thought I was getting a room with those accommodations but was disappointed that only a few rooms were equipped with them. Also, updated televisions with a wider variety of channels. Not interested in purchasing movies to watch when there is cable or dish available. These are simple amenities that we all have at home. Our toilet didn't flush. We booked a king bed room but got a 2 double room. We had a pool view from our window and they had a party on the second night of our stay. It was very noisy and we were not told about the party or we could have requested a different area to stay in. We told the staff about the bed size room and all they did for compensation was take $ 5.00 offthe bill and give us a $ 10.00 coupon for breakfast. Room smelled funny, no outdoor access. The bathroom was rusty and had a lot of cracking in the tile along the bathroom. The maid came at 9 am knocked on the door and we were still sleeping. on 7/12 we stopped on way to utah. my brothers room toilet didn't work. coming back we stayed there but our toilet didn't. I had to go to the registration room to use there restroom. very stingy on linens, soaps, shampoo etc. Sheets and pillow were damp on one bed. Beds are not queen but full size. Cable channels very limited.
