  I arrived early on my check-in day around 9:30 AM from the train station in Emeryville. I asked the person at the front desk if I could check in a bit early if a room was available. Close to many good dinner places. The room was clean. This place is good if you need a quick place to sleep close San Francisco. Hotels in the City charge up to $50/day to park. Parking at La Quinta was free and I enjoyed the hassle free ride on Bart.

There is a fridge, microwave, cable flat screen tv. Even though it's old, it has been nicely kept up and looks charming in an old California style.   It's near Downtown Berkeley Bart station, so it's quite convenient. The breakfast, though lack in varieties, served its purpose. The staff was Ok. - Liked it all. Very convenient to places we needed to go to. Whenever we went out and came back it was like returning home.
