VERY nice staff and the owner waited up for us to arrive through a bad storm. I got what we needed: a low budget place that included a refrigerator and microwave. I am glad the owner is going to update the hotel. This is very convenient to downtown Asheville, only 10 min drive to UNC Asheville, and easily accessible to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Ingles across the street seems brand new and had everything we needed.
所有评语 » Though an old motel, it was still pretty nice to get a room in Asheville that didn't cost $150. I guess some places would rather have empty rooms to save their "posh" image.... The room was clean. Also plenty of daylight with the big glass doors to the little patio. The ac worked well and the cleaning staff was very sweet. I liked having a clean, comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price while I was attending a week long training session. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good location to restuarants and shops. Location. The manager was extremely friendly. I checked in quite late and she helped with getting the heater set and running for my comfort. My room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. I wasn't looking for luxury, only convenience. Quiet, inexpensive, friendly staff, very conscientious about riff-raff in the area. Clean, near Asheville. A good standard motel. Great location. Cheap. It was close to downtown Asheville. Less than $10 can ride. The place definitely needs to be updated -- there were cracks in the wall, worn carpet, the toilet flushed every other time. The pool was filled with rocks and there was stagnant water nearby. Could hear a little too much street noise from my particular room. Nothing. Door key problems. Hot water problems. Tv remote did not work. I think running the vacuum a little more often would help the carpeting. sketchy area for riff-raff. At least 30 dollars for a room is for the approximity to Asheville. Didn't have enough towels, no shampoo, soup to small. Dirty, old, poorly kept up. Gave the impression that you were likely to be offered crack, adult services, or be stabbed. Heater worked poorly, chair was stained, tissue box was empty, over all gross, uncomfortable, and unpleasant. Filthy rat hole. Staff has no hospitality experience. I booked it for $130 and they charged me for $150 not happy about this at all and the toilet was broken and it also said that their was only one king size room left but there were no more than 6 rooms occupied at the time. Rent by the week type hotel. Old dingy rooms with old dingy sheets. Tried to cancel our reservation when we arrived but we were locked in because is the 24 hr cancelation policy.
