The Bell Tower has a great location on the campus of University of Michigan; also very near the historic michigan Theater. The hotel is very traditional-looking, and quiet. It also has free wifi in guest rooms -- a big plus. We had a suite with separate bedroom and a very comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was fantastic! I could walk to most of my destinations (even the beautiful Ann Arbor Arboretum!) The complimentary valet service provided prompt and courteous service when I did need my car for destinations outside Ann Arbor. The people working there were happy, helpful and welcoming.
所有评语 » In order of experience: 1. Great location. 2. Good curb appeal, and without a busy street to contend with when unloading. 3. Cozy lobby, esp. on the cold day we arrived. 4. Very friendly staff. 5. Staff friendly the next day too. Centrally located well run quaint hotel. The small but adequate breakfast was a great inclusion at least you could get going early without having to find a restaurant for breakfast. Clean, comfortable room, good light, comfortable chair, WiFi, very accommodating staff. Included breakfast was just fine. Location, superb; cleanliness, high; comfort, good; room size, good; overall value, high. The attached resturant, superb. Service is excellent, staff courteous and attentive. Rooms are clean. Love free valet parking! Location is perfect. The staff was friendly and the room was nice. Its a great location to the University of Michigan. Only one staff member at desk at 6:30am, which made for some waiting as he left to fetch a car in the parking ramp for another guest, leaving the desk unattended. This is minor; didn't change our high opinion of the hotel. The cost of the room was much higher than rooms on the outskirts of town. You are definitely paying for location but the luxury of the hotel and the kindness of the staff made it worthwhile!. 1. Carpets in room were vacuumed, but looked discolored by use/dirt over time. 2. Room was quite cold; thermostat had to be turned fairly high above normal to get heat to come out of unit under window. 3. drain in tub didn't work smoothly; it was hard to find correct position to open drain 4. Hot food at complimentary breakfast not very tasty (but it was free). No Fridge in the room. I have no complaints. Oh yes, I dfo, Please make stronger and better- grade coffee. The coffee is a real disappointment in an otherwise thoughtful and cosmopolitain, boutique hotel. The price was a little high, but it was a great location, so I would expect to pay more. Needed another chair in room (#105) a bit of an "old" smell in halls Our room looked directly onto the parking lot, on the same floor Recommend more variety in breakfast (but enjoyed having hot food each day). it would be better not to have eggs, than to serve the ones you did, perhaps they were egg beaters or something, but they were awful. bathroom was very tight. Step up to bathroom. The bed is too soft. The bedding. Matress was horrible- get a new one. Parking. Not having access to our car unless they got it for us. Not being able to check in til 4 p.m. We arrived at 10:30 a.m. were able to check our car in but our room wasn't ready which we expected, but we were told they would put a rush on our room, knowing that we had already arrived and still was not able to get in our room til 4 p.m.
