We mainly dealt with Adam who turned out to be a very friendly and helpful person.He gave us good advice and useful tips on Anchorage which we very much appreciated. Thank you Adam!!. price,location, and amenities like car parking while traveling and airport shuttle. affordable and friendly. The staff was friendly. Good shuttle service. Helpful staff. Room was good size and reasonably clean. Decent shower.

Clean and comfortable room. I have stayed at Alaskan Longhouse for the past 20 years and have never experienced such a drop in overall cleanliness. Anything, It is the worst experience I've had, this hotel is too dirty, the rooms stink, the breakfast is horrible. Not much. We lived in Anchorage, for 30 years, and our usual places for staying were booked. The location was good.The continental breakfast was good..not a BandB but substantial. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Customer service was really great. The staff. the rate (due to off season) - close to the airport. Limited laundry facilities with only one clothes-dryer in service at the time we stayed. We also found the fridge a bit too noisy in our room. Continental breakfast was sub-standard. They need to have more hot choices during the Continental Breakfast, such as eggs, oatmeal, sausage, and bacon. Lastly, the coffee was cold. A bit simple and somewhat pricy for what you get. Carpet very worn and room treatments were outdated. hard bed, minimalist rooms - no clock for example. They renovated the lobby but didn't touch the rooms. poor shuttle service to airport (we had to take a cab instead, although staff confirmed that shuttle will be ready for us at 3pm, it wasn´t). I did not like the idea that there was no elevator for use, the carpet in the hall had an odor, and there was not screen on the upper windows, and one screen on one of the small windows was bent and let in bugs. Shower needed more cleaning Sheets fitted poorly Breakfast was dismal: out of oatmeal, bagels, muffins Motel needed some update. Breakfast advertised as included in price, but the hotel was full and no food left by 7.30am when we arrived. Lack of cleanliness. It is the worst experience I've had, this hotel is too dirty, the rooms stink, the breakfast is horrible. Coffee maker, no coffee, even when requested. No remote or station guide for TV. Hot, no fan, no hand towels. Major wrinkles in carpet, needed to be stretched. The staff at the front desk wasn't very knowledgeable. The room was dirty and smelled musty. The place definitely needs to be cleaned and updated. Nice on the outside and lobby but the rest sucked!!!. My room (229) smelled as if someone had urinated all over the whole room. You could tell housekeeping tried to "clean" it with carpet fresh because they didn't vacuum it up completely. I don't think anyone has ever use the wand attachment as the perimeter of the room has quite the build up on the carpet. This was the same in my room, my sister-in-law's room, and mother-in- law's room. I will not be returning to the Longhouse and will not be recommending to friends. Hard bed. No coffee maker. Bare minimums. Broken window. Old TV. This hotel is old, rundown and needs to be remodeled. Dirty, stained carpets, table in the room was about to fall apart. One of the beds had a wheel that fell off the frame and was lying under neath, poor breakfast, terrible coffee. Also no air conditioning. Way to expensive.. No facilities at all, no fridge no coffee. Continental breakfast was meant to be supplied and there was nothing left except cereal, but no milk. Carpets in building completely had it. Very expensive for what you get. Room was dirty Bedding was old and tattered Stains on the carpet Curtains did not close completely. super loud - shabby dirty room - no room service - bed was really old and extrem inconvenient - it's only worth to stay there when they have low rates - otherwise it's a waste of money.
