  We loved the Deerfield Lodge. The owners, Robin and Eric, were terrific hosts to us and our pooch. The hotel is so clean and beautifully decorated. We sat at the fire pit nightly and were always offered wine and our pooch a treat! It is walking distance to the lake and downtown. The room is spacious and clean. The location is perfect, close to everything. We enjoyed the free bottle of wine and extra treats in the room.   This resort was really well located on the lake front and near shops etc. the accommodation was a great size for myself, husband and two young children. The resort itself has a couple of pools and spas and is a great place to stay with family, we definitely hope to go back again one day!   The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, maybe a 10 min walk to Heavenly Village/casinos. The facilities are a bit outdated, but clean and comfortable.
