The staff were friendly & very accomodating. A special mention for Sheila who was great with kids and went around asking parents to send their kids to the club for painting & drawing activities and face painting as well. We stayed there from August 15th & 16th, 2013 and it was a great experience. We had booked the Jr. Suite which was spacious for a family of 5. We were right between the pool & the kids play area. The room was well kept and exceeded our expectations. A lovely res.
所有评语 » I found the hotel to be great value for money. Our check-in only took mere minutes and we were shown to our room. The room was clean and tidy. Mini fridge however is empty (i prefer it that way) but for those that prefer the fridge to be filled need to notify the hotel on booking. The beach is a walking distance and even in the heat of summer, not to bad for a walk. There are however carts that can drop you off from reception to the beach. We tried breakfast at both restaurants and consider it . I liked everything about the resort, I think it has been set up very well indeed to cater to our needs. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and I particularly loved the buggies to and from the Golf Club and the other Hotels. Alan one of the drivers of the buggies stood out due to his friendliness and helpfulness. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I will definitely be recommending your resort to other people and in fact I already have. Well Done I cannot wait to stay again. Overall the standard of accommodation was very good. My only let down was when I booked it was said the Junior Suite was for either 3 adults of 2 adults and 2 children with there being a sofa bed in the room. In realtiy there was no sofa bed and as such my 4 year old daughter had to share a bed with my wife and myself. I was told by reception that the sofa bed was not requested yet the booking had 2+1 on it. A break down in communication between letsbookhotel.com and the resort. The staff are friendly and the hotel is flexible with check in check out timings. The ambiance is quaint and it is a good getaway if you are living in Dubai. There is choice in terms of being by the beach or using the pool of the other hotels in the property as well. They have made sufficient play areas for children. All areas are well landscaped. Great location opposite the palace hotel which you have access to beach facilities Room was big and bathroom was good size as well The bag guys were awesome, always willing to help out - very friendly The bed was so comfortable a welcome relief from having spent a night on the rock hard bed at Acacia. every thing is perfect ,for us we didn't faced any problem ,from the first moment the staff was helpful and the room was so clean ,we enjoy every thing pool ,gym.restaurant ,walking ,every thing is perfect ,thank you very much. Nice renovated room (stayed in junior sweet). In the room available tea kettle and iron board. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Special THANKS to the cleaning personnel who daily decorated our bed with flowers. We spent 2 nites in the suites in Hamra Village Golf & Beach Resort..it was a wonderful experience..They have all the facilities.. Nice Pub..Enjoyed Sheesha at the pool..Very relaxing..Will surely visit again.. Comfortable, clean, quiet, pleasant. Rooms have nice balconies. Pool's big enough (15m?) for swimming. Bar's OK. Good supermarket and modern mall just a km away. Handy base for exploring region. Excellent location, spacious Junior Suite, very good breakfast actually excellent breakfast, easy parking and very pleasant ambiance overall. We were allowed a late checkout which was appreciated. Loved the big rooms -the suite rooms with patio to the gardens found the staff very helpful and liked the fact we could go to Al Hamra Palace as well. Fab Beach Bar with music and chillout beds. Architectural design of the hotel, room design and furniture, facilities, food, location, near by Al Hamra Mall, a loot of palm trees and greens around, hotel service was very good. The best part is that you can get access to the facilities at the Palace Hotel. Staff at the reception is friendly and accommodating. Good selection of fruits at breaksfast buffet. The 1-bedroom suite and breakfast was very nice for 500dhs. The beach was clean and access to all facilities in the 2 hotels was appreciated. Overall experience 8 / 10. All facilities were great, I run an off road tour company for motorbikes and we had no problems with parking the bikes and being able to have them safe. Thks. The surrounding area is a fantastic hideaways for families, couples and even a group of friends. The beach is superb and the rooms are very comfortable. Excellent value for money, relaxing atmosphere. Staff are generally wonderful, helpful and friendly. Perfect place for a weekend break to relax. The course, the staff of the golf club and the restaurant head chef who always produces wonderful meals not always shown on the menu. I liked that we could use the facilities at the Hamra Palace this made all the difference as we love the beach and sea and pool . Just a suggestion to increase the pool time especially during the summers. 8pm closure time is too early and the resort should allow people to use the pool probably till 10pm atleast. The pool should stay open longer - at least till 10-11PM. 8PM is a bit to early and that is normally the time we want to be at the pool. The only thing I would say in this box was about the steps in to the swimming pool, there were a couple missing and they were very slippery when you were wet, which made me uneasy getting in and out of the pool, apart from that everything else was spectacular. No sofa bed in Junior Suite as the booking said there would be. Some of the electricity in the room was not working, though they did come and repair the same. (plug points for the television, fridge and other sockets). One of the reception staff (long black hair, fair Phillipino lady) was ok, but she didn't bother to tell us about the shuttle service to the Palace, she clearly knew as other guests were going across to the Palace for breakfast but didn't bother to even offer. We didn't mind the walk but knowing what's on offer is part of 'good customer service'. Breakfast could be better with more food variety. Everything was perfect no complaints. Although handy for the beach, it's not really a beach resort as you can't see the sea and you have to walk a couple of hundred meters and go through a big hotel to get to it. Sofa bed was poor, with a very bad mattress, some of the bathroom fittings were substandard. Toiletries were limited for a resort of this standard. Breakfast was great the first day then the crowds hot and they could not accommodate the people seating wise. Lots of back log with Clearing up. Also the worst steak ever at the Pub which is not the first time. Thwy need to sort that one. Pool at Al Hamra village was not with cooling water. Not enough baby chairs at the restaurant, low pressure in the shower. Slow service at breakfast buffet. The sofa bed was terrible; not fit for sleeping. Price of 1 beer in the pub was 33 dirhams, almost 7 euros! Bring your own alcohol. Mosquitoes on the golf-side of the hotel was a problem; bring mosquito spray. The description in the web saying that "located in front of rak Ceramics and just behind Al Hamra Mall is a bit misleading because there are several residential apartments buildings there which is not the place we should be at. Not somewhere to stay if you are a food lover. Food facilities are limited and low in quality. Catering for a very evident clientele market!. Not able to stay longer!. The water was cold in the pool at the golf resort . No coffee facility for a 4 star hotel is very strange. Entrance door to the room was difficult to open. I was not happy that you did not provide Tea & Coffee in the rooms. This should be a must in all rooms because it is not very costly to supply. Staff were very slow in service people at the English pub! but the food was good. Old furniture in room Bathroom accessorizes half broken and old. Buffet Breakfast Menu can be improved. The check in time took too long and the room wasn't ready on our arrival at 4.30pm. they only give 1 Beach Towel per person. The swimming pool timing not good, the are closing at 8:00 pm it should be at least 10:00 pm The Shishsa in the English pop not available all the time. This will allow to a better and spectacular business. nothing... that we had to walk so far from room to hotel building and or to beach at hotel across the road. Breakfast room had old grubby placemats. There is a lot of construction in the area. Took too long in checking out - checked out at 0245hrs. Smoking in the English Pub - unpleasant to eat there. the pic of the room is not the same on real.
