Every whim catered for in these truly tasteful, well appointed apartments. Slick professional check in, great staff, complimentary parking, welcome champagne and fruit, drinks, fresh warm bread daily, fridge stocked with mixers and delicious breakfast items. Comfy sofas, beds, spacious bathroom, kitchen with every gadget. We spent very little time in the apartment as you are in the centre of the city and we prefer the city facilities. You could easily spend plenty of time in the apartment and c.
所有评语 » I can only describe our stay as absolutely..... flippin..... fabulous. The staff were welcoming from start to finish. The apartment was immaculate. The extras (champagne, beers, gin, vodka, soft drinks, chocolates, fruit basket, food to make a cooked breakfast, fresh bread and much, much more) were excellent. The bed was both huge (queen size) and extremely comfy. There was nothing we wanted or needed that wasn't there. Even a dishwasher and washing machine! Perfect. The location was 'spo. What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We were in Room 5 with a nice view of the river and bridge. The amenities were excellent and the food wonderful. We arrived late and there was a bottle of Sparkling Wine chilled and beer, juices, milk, water, cereal, basket of fruit and a loaf of fresh baked bread to snack on. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was roomy. We stayed in apartments and castles prior to the Blue Rooms and the Blue Bicycle and I would rate this place top notch. . I loved everything about the Blue Rooms. The locations is amazing and the staff were very friendly upon checking in. We stayed in Room 3 which is the large 1 bed apartment and it was everything we could have ever imagined and more. The apartment is spacious, clean and very well stocked. You get champagne, fruit, fresh bread, alcohol and a fridge stocked full of lovely stuff to drink and cook for breakfast. If you look hard enough you will even find the odd chocolate or three hidden for you to n. The apartment (number 2) sleeps 4. Ideal for us as a group of friends on a 40th birthday weekend! Inside the apartments are a really high standard, with some nice finishing touches. Good location for shopping & short walk/taxi ride (for those with heels!!) to the bars & restaurants. Breakfast in the fridge to cook yourself in the morning saved any rushing around, although I would recommend arranging a late check-out. Staff were really friendly & helpful, even came in the car with u. Fantastic apartment right in the centre of York, with parking. The apartment is very spacious with two excellent bedrooms, a lovely bathroom, good size kitchen and living room - all beautifully appointed. The champagne was a lovely touch and breakfasts were more than generous, we actually used the cooked parts as lunch! A brilliant place to stay, our seven year old daughter loved the place and unpacked immediately. It is just a short walk to The Shambles, The Jorvik Centre and The Minster so ve. Lovely atmosphere; gracious welcome; very generous breakfast layout in the rooms (though we ate very little of it, and forgot that you could ask for a discount if you didn't want all that food and they would simply bring you croissants or whatever instead); free champagne and drinks; unexpectedly huge, gorgeous rooms; quiet central location (once you found it, which took some doing); best of everything. Far exceeded expectations. We were blown away and didn't want to leave. Thanks for a fantast. I booked The Blue Rooms for my partner's birthday. The apartment was fantastic, decorated to a high level with a luxury feel. My partner was bowled over by the bottle of champagne and fridge stocked with food and drink, which was included in the price of our stay, and he said it was the most comfortable bed he has ever slept in. The free parking place in the centre of York was also a welcome bonus. We would certainly recommend The Blue Rooms and look forward to returning ourselves in the fu. The Blue Rooms do not look much from outside, but they are really spacious and well equipped apartments. The apartments are very quiet, and cozy once you get used to the honks ofgeese patrolling up and down the little river flowing right under the windows. The managment is very thoughtful in providing all sorts of complimentary items including food and drinks. We will definitely stay there again if given the chance. The blue rooms as they are known are fabulous we had a large room right next to the river foss which was quite stunning. The self catering facilities were first class. The free bottle of champagne, the free gin, whisky and mixers were all a bonus. Great feeding the ducks and swans from our balcony in the morning. dined in the blue rooms own restaurant called blue bicycle too which was excellent. We stayed at the Blue Rooms this weekend and I was blown away at how good it was! I had been told by a few people how good it was and it had been recommended a number of time so I decided to book the room. I was not disappointed! Everything you needed was there (iron, hairdryer, washing machine!) I only wish I was staying for the week! Everyone needs to stay!. The apartment was finished to a high standard of decor and amenities, with complementary drinks and fruit. Fully fitted kitchen and fresh breakfast items allowed us to take breakfast when we liked, still in our pyjamas!, While the large bath was great for long soaks after a days sightseeing. Only York's 'time-limited' road system which made it hard to actually reach Fossgate. However, a call to the nice lady at The Blue Bicycle helped us to reach the apartment using a different approach set of roads. The only place to check in is the restaurant, which was closed when we got there, leaving us to wander disconsolately about until somebody showed up. Generous with everything except facial tissues - one box in the bathroom, which as we were sharing a 4-room 1-1/2 bath suite with another couple was not very convenient. Coffee-making is via cafetiere which Americans tend not to be familiar with. Parking's tricky. Minor, very minor, quibbles. Loved the place. We didn't want to go out into the city centre as we wanted to make the most of staying in such a beautiful apartment. It is a wonderful idea to provide daily fresh meats and vegetables for the customers, but this should be just an option. We had never been to York, so the supply of food made us skip a chance to eat at local restaurants. We appreciated the gesture, but it could be made an option. This is not a complaint at all. A sign at the front indicating the location of registration/reception would be helpful for new comers, especially those from other countries. Thank you very much!. hardly anything except for lack of shower (great bath though. All the staff are very young. Absolutely nothing!!!. Parking was a nightmare. Difficult to find at first, then a small courtyard accessed down a narrow passageway meant reversing down it or a multiple point turn if there was any space left when you got there. Lost TV connection a couple of times but just needed re-scan and as mentioned this was sorted out, by staff, within minutes. The fact that there weren't any signs and/or reception upon arrival. We were fortunate to catch the previous tenants as they were checking out to find where we needed to go to collect the key. It was quite difficult to find - we had to park on double yellow lines and call them for directions. It might be worth including clearer details of how to find on the confirmation booking. It was a bonus to have car parking, but it was a small yard and quite a tight fit - people in larger cars may find it a challenge!. Would have preferred a walk in shower instead of bath. Car parking was tight for a large car. I can't think of anything. Can't think of one thing at all to be negative about!!!!. Only gripe would be the early checkout time of 10.30am. I think at midday would be fairer. Parking was adequate if somewhat cramped. I forgot to take my shower cap and a disposable one wasn't provided. This and some cotton face pads would have been welcome. This is one very minor point in an otherwise very well equipped apartment. Driving around the area to arrive at the Blue Rooms was difficult for us out of towners. The car parking was a bit tight. the early checkout. 10.30 is a bit early. another hour would be ideal/. Cooking your own breakfast is fine but it would be helpful to know what will/won't be replaced on a daily basis. And checkout time could be bit later given the need to prepare and clean up after breakfast. Nothing.Could have done with longer to enjoy the apartment on Sunday morning as I was weary and felt it was a rush to get out by 10.30 a.m. However, can't fault staff on their willingness to help with left luggage, before and afterwards; this was very helpful. Thanks. Leaving it behind to go back to our caravan holiday!. We did not have enough time to make the most of it (but that was our fault!). Having to leave... we would have liked to have stayed longer. leaving!. Having to leave!. Nothing. The single beds joined to make a double. Nothing. Only downside was the 10:30am checkout time. Would have preferred it to be 11:30am instead. Everything in apartments was great. An ice bucket would have been good at the restaurant considering the amount we paid for the wine!. N/A. faultless!. Check out too early - midday would be preferable. Nothing.
