Our stay was just a dream in every way — from the incredibly warm and helpful welcome from Les, to Al's terrific travel recommendations, to the clean, so-cozy rooms, to the roses in each room, and waking up to the smell of freshly-baked bread. The location is terrific, too — shielded from most traffic sounds, while still just a quick (and beautiful) walk to the abbey and city walls. Can't wait to go back!. 所有 评语 »
Location was perfect for visiting York, Les & Al were so hospitable, friendly and welcoming and took time to recommend things to do/see for first time visitors to York. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious with a wide choice of food. Would highly recommend Abbeyfields Guest House and would certainly stay there again!.
From the moment we arrived we had a lovely warm welcome. The proprietor was extremely friendly and very informative of places of interest and recommendations of places to dine. The guest house was spotlessly clean and the location was excellent. Waking up to the smell of freshly baked bread which accompanied the breakfast was a real treat.

homemade bread etc. Very friendly staff. Parking right outside the
Guesthouse. 5 mins walk from city centre. Really informative handwritten
information folder in room about the history of York and places to eat
and drink.
Breakfast was Excellent without a shadow of a light the best B&B breakfast we have ever had. Hosts were also attentive, they clearly put a lot if effort and care in making certain guests have a great stay. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting York.

Al and Les are great hosts who made us very welcome.

Abbeyfields has the perfect location. It is situated in a quiet street only a 5min stroll to York City centre.The breakfasts are of a very high quality with a good choice of fresh fruit and cereal.
