  The couple who run the hotel are very friendly and helpful it has a real cosy family feel to the Europia.   You were made to feel welcome from the onset, all the facilities were pointed out immediately with tea/coffee offered, which was a very nice touch. The accommodation was very clean with an ensuite, you weren't bothered unnecessarily but help was at hand if required. Breakfast superb. Pot of tea and biscuits on arrival in the lounge. We had a bedroom with a sea view - which was comfortable,well appointed and clean. The breakfast of choice was ample to enable us enjoy a full day exploring wonderful places. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable of the locality. Nothing was too much bother and we left our 4 day break feeling refreshed and very satisfied.

  In our opinion this was the best guest house we have stayed in. Our room was very comfortable spacious and clean and the towels were changed everyday. There was a fridge on our landing and the owner Sheila put fresh milk in there in case we didn't like the milk in our room (Have never stayed anywhere else that did that). There is also a lovely lounge downstairs to use with a very large comfort - Michael and Sheila were very friendly and down-to-earth. We were made to feed very welcome and everything was to a good standard and very clean. The breakfast was very good too. Whitby itself has everything you could wish for from a friendly seaside town (British weather permitting of course) and it is particularly dog-friendly. There are lots of food outlets to suit every budget. Shopping is excellent. Will definitely be going to Whitby again!

Rooms were ready early , very cozy clean. Bathroom only had sheer but t was still great. Breakfast was outta ths world. We pre ordered our breakfast for 8 am and were eating at 805 . Hotel very clean, felt like a home away from home. Loved it, would stay there again, location excellent.
