The friendly welcome,by a very pleasant couple.Oppisate a public park full of wildlife.The rooms were comfy as were the beds.Tea and coffee facilities.The breakfasts were very good and tasty.The location was quite good as it was not far from the centre.My husband has disabilities but taxis are plentiful so we found it quite easy to get to the centre of attractions. We stayed in the most basic room but it was spotless and enough for what we wanted. Brian the host was chatty and did a lovely fried breakfast, although there were other choices for those not wanting a fry, including cereal and fresh fruit. Would go back there again without hesitation.

Would recommend it to anyone beautiful house very pleasant hosts and a nice breakfast thanks for a lovely bank holiday weekend Teresa and Liam. we stayed in the annex room and it was lovely. Breakfast was very nice and prepared well. Catered for my special dietary needs. Easy access to town so we didn't need to move the car once parked on our arrival. Friendly owner. Excellent 3 nights stay, very good breakfast, clean through out, any questions we had regarding Whitby were answered, this is the third time we have visited Whitby and Big Ski was far and above better than the other two. Just returned from a three day break for the Whitby Gothic weekend. B&B is in a great location, lovely and clean, with a very good breakfast. The proprietor Brian is a great host, and made us very welcome. Quite a good location, not far from the town, very clean and comfortable, looked like everything was newly decorated and some very nice finishing touches. Big room and nothing was too much trouble. Good food warm welcome . Real open fire friendly hosts. Although bathroom not ensuite it was private and little extras like toiletries a pleasant surprise. Felt it went the extra mile. The bed was very comfortable and the view from our room over Pannett park was lovely, the room was very nicely decorated as was the overall b&b, very clean throughout. Clean and tidy. Beautiful bed with amazing quilt. Brian friendly and approachable. Whitby much bigger than I expected with lots of pubs / tea shops. It was located closely to the town, very friendly welcome by Brian. Super comfy bed and sofa! A lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Off street parking. Duck down quilt, memory foam matress, feather pillows. Excellent breakfast and extremely happy friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Brian and his wife were very nice friendly people.room great .bed very comfy.breakfast lovely.no complaints at all.would stay there again. Nothing:. I do like fried eggs for breakfast, we only got scrambled!. Although had own bathroom was not en suite. But was very clean modern and very well equipped . The parking wasn't good as we arrived early evening and had to park on a very steep driveway behind another car. This became a problem the next morning when the first couple wanted to get their car out and we had gone back to bed after breakfast and were knocked up to move. Also no biscuits on the tea and coffee tray in the room and no complimentary toiletries. Nothing!. The only thing that disappointed was the very cool , small bathroom . A small shelf for toiletries would have useful too . Otherwise totally satisfied :-). Nothing. Could do with a little more hanging space in the room. nothing. The parking but it was available just on a slope. nothing. There was nothing I didn't like. would have liked a proper shower but bath was good. Nothing not to like. Nothing. 'En-suite shower room' is literally a shower enclosure in the bedroom itself. Was on main road, could be noisy at times. directions given from station. Although parking advertised, unable to park offroad due to limited parking spaces, not a problem in February, may be an issue in summer. Room well appointed, but shower in bedroom, room also a little cool. Breakfast portions quite small not much choice. Car Parking. prefer shower instead of bath. Not much really. Nothing. To many stairs, very small toilet and shower in middle of room with clear glass, and did not know they do not take cards of any kind. you was poured one glass of orange juice,no option for any more.You had scrambled egg with no choice of poached or fried.The steps to the annex were steep and wooden,if my parents had stopped there they wouldnt have been able to reach the room.This should have been made aware to you before booking.
