i came here for work. so it did not bother me that its far from the city.
Tesco is right beside the hotel. offices were within walking distance, if u finish with work and don't feel like going to the city, westhill is beautiful if you just walk around and take pictures around the farms.
the hotel is good, enough facilities, the staffs were helpful

Reception staff were really friendly, the cleaning staff did a great job, there were nice touches like the kids pj's under pillows and things put out of the way for them. To have two proper beds for the kids was great as last time they were mattresses on the floor. We were also served in the shepherds rest by a young man who was really helpful and kind (think called Dylan?)
