  The staff was very lovely and helpful! The hotel was very easy to find, once there we were shown to our room, which was the four poster bed room. It was one of the biggest rooms we have ever stayed at, it had a lovely old-English decoration with wood-paneled walls. We had dinner at the pub which was very nice, much nicer than your average pub food... 别人怎么说 » ! Breakfast was plentiful, had a good selection of continental breakfast items: pastries, cereals, yoghurts, different fruit juices, coffee and tea. T - This was our first trip to Wendover and we were celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We loved the old period cottage feel and especially the Cromwell Bedroom. Great parking. Having been a second chef I believe the best judge of a hotel is the way it deals with emergencies; so when the chef didn't appear to make breakfast on Saturday morning the Manager and Assistant sprang into action and coped superbly producing a full English that was delicious - top marks. We will be back!

  The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Inn itself is lovely, very cosy and warm with open fires blazing. There was a good and varied menu. Vegetarians seemed to be well catered for - I'm not one, but there was a lot of choice. The room was quirky and well thought out. Access to the bedrooms was good, there was ke... 别人怎么说 » y fob access to upstairs from the bar or the car park, so you felt very secure plus there is free parking - always a bonus! - The room was spacious and homely. It was very clean on arrival and had everything as advertised. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and shower was of good power (not drizzling out like some hotels). The buffet breakfast was excellent with cereals, toast, jams, marmalade, chocolate spread etc as well as plenty of fruit, juices, tea and coffee (as much as you like) to choose from. Relaxing bar atmosphere in the evening.
