The setting was beautiful. Are welcome was very warm and it was clear from the onset that nothing was too much trouble when Chris came to meet us at our car and offered to carry our bags. Our room had fabalous views, I have never slept in a more comfortable bed and our breakfast was amazing. Plush comfortable hotel, rather more for the mature set I would think. Felt very sumptuous in the 'Heytesbury Suite' ) Very posh breakfast with china teacups and cut glass - loved it. Plenty to do in surrounding areas as long as you have car or taxi.
所有评语 » A quiet, comfortable and clean room and bed. Excellent breakfast. (Delicious home baked bread). Courteous and enthusiastic service. A beautiful old and historic house which is beautifully decorated. Very well situated to Warminster and area. The location is superb for visiting Longleat and other places of intrest. Our room called Silk, was wonderful, with one of the most comfortable king size beds we have ever slept in. The hosts were very friendly and looked after us well. A stunning country house where we were made to feel at home in the beautiful surroundings. Every effort was made to cater to our needs, a truly wonderful weekend. welcome, comfy room bed, biscuits in room, host proactively printed off my route for journey following day, fabulous breakfast one of the best I have ever had. Fantastic service, we were made to feel very welcome. Close to longleat and other attractions, lovely food and very comfy bed! Would definitely stay again. Chris and Enid made us feel very welcome from our arrival until our departure, and were always friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. The whole package! From the gardens, to the room, the afternoon tea served on arrival and the wonderful breakfast! Not forgetting our wonderful hosts. The whole package from afternoon tea to the regrettable check-out, the following day. A delightful experience which we will repeat as soon as we can. Warm welcome, homemade tea and cake on arrival, beautiful gardens and scenery, lovely clean large room and suite, comfy bed, good off road parking. Friendly and helpful Chrisand Enid,who ran a comfortable and welcoming house and responded positively to all our requests. The room was so lovely and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and the house and gardens delightful. Comfy bed, clean rooms, great room amenities, warm welcome, home made cake and biscuits, close to Longleat. Location,comfort, friendly & extremely helpful owners,cleanliness,nice garden,home made food :-D. Owners were very welcoming, the house was very nice, breakfast good, homemade bread, jams ect. Friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble. lovely location and very well presented house. Location, service, high standards, attention to detail, weloming feeling, comfort. Fabulous hosts, lovely room, great location and delicious home-cooked breakfast. It was a lovely house, very comfortable and spotlessly clean room. Friendly reception and help with picnic needs (ice blocks etc). Warm welcome and cosy feeling. So elegant, so friendly. Room was a nice size & clean. Due to the very good weather we were able to advantage of the extensive garden. Close proximity to Longleat. Our bathroom and toliet were across the landing, although we were assured that we would not encounter any one else (which we did not) it was just a little uncomfortable. Surprised to eat breakfast with 2 other unknown couples around large dining table! More homemade biscuits please in the room (there was only x3). Guests are asked to be absent from the house between 11.00A.M. and 4.00P.M. (for cleaning). No apparent flexibility about it. No evening food available, even light snacks or drinks. We would suggest that evening meals for guests is provided as a standard, as their food is superb. We appreciate that is difficult if you only want to remain a good bed & breakfast location, but after a long day out, going out again for evening food is a struggle !. what could b refined? 1.I was not made aware of the sitting room when I arrived in the evening but enjoyed reading papers there in the morning 2. there was an odd noisy interference when TV on.. 3.I could imagine the bathroom being chilly first thing in the morning..perhaps consider wall mounted electric bar heater...minor issue. Not staying another night!. Nothing. Leaving and having to face the M25 again!. Breakfast was delicious, just would have enjoyed a bigger portion. had to go home. Nothing. Nothing. Bathroom and toilet was down the hallway. Prefer an en suite myself. We expected the house to be reasonably close to other required facilities such as restaurants, especially as the B&B requires 1 weeks notice for an evening meal. Nearest eatery 1 mile walk on unlit thoroughfares. Breakfast not of a standard for the price of the B&B.
