Absolutey loved it here! The welcome from the owners was friendly and they came to greet us as soon as we pulled up in the car. We were offered tea and coffee and then shown around the b&b. Dean the owner also advised us of the places to visit around here and offered to reserve a table for us at the nearest pub. The breakfast in the morning was lovely, cooked to order with plenty of toast and tea and coffee. The hospitality and customer service here is the best thing about it as the owners .
所有评语 » Dean and Steph are warm and welcoming. They helped us in getting around the Lake District and even offered to give us lifts to some places. Breakfast is large and delicious. Rooms are clean. For us who were traveling only by bus there is a bus stop just next to the cottage. Keswick is just 20 min away by bus. Keswick is a lovely peaceful little town. I highly recommend a lake tour by the boat. From Keswick it is easily to visit all the lake by bus. From the friendly welcome from Steph and Dean to the beautiful outlook from the Breakfast room (cathedral windows) towards the majestic mountains covered in snow. We decided it was so good we stayed an extra night and had another sensational meal at the Troutbeck Inn opposite Netherdene Country House. We would thoroughly recommend a stay with these delightful people. The owners, Dean & Stephanie were very friendly and welcoming to their B&B. They were very helpful with making the most out of our time in the Lake District. The views from the sun room, where the breakfasts are served, are fantastic complimenting the freshly cooked breakfast each morning. Overall a fantastic little place and I would thoroughly recommend it. Best B & B I have stayed in. Great hosts’ very comfortable accommodation, the Breakfast room was my fav for the views although from my room I also had spectacular views of the hills. Dean gave me great tips on where to park etc for my walks and places to eat. I have already recomended to my friends and I aim to go back myself later this year. Freindly, helpful hosts. Excellent location- quiet, far from crowds but convenietly there is an excellent restaurant across the street form the B&B and you are close toe mant sights. Good breakfasts and a wonderful view from breakfast room. There is a small lounge for guests. Clean with a comfortable bed. The Netherdene was absolutely perfect for us and excellent value for money! We felt 100% welcome from the second we arrived and no ask was a problem. The breakfast was lovely. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again if passing through the area. Netherdene is by far and away the best b & b we have stayed at. The friendly welcome, great food, comfortable bed, local knowledge and service second to none. Will be our first choice when we next visit the lakes. So friendly and so helpful. A wonderful stay. We have not always felt welcome with a young baby in tow, but our family friendly hosts have ensured we will be booking another stay soon. Thank you. In our room on the lower level, the ensuite bathroom was a little small, but nothing that would prevent would us from another stay at this lovely location. Nothing. Bathroom is tiny and bed took up most of the room, but we managed. room size. Bedside lights weren't very bright - hard to read by Shower/loo a little cramped. Nothing. Nothing. No critcisms at all. The location is a little on the edge of the Lakes, but of course there's nothing they can do about that. A rather small on-suite bathroom, but perfectly well equipped. Bathroom very small. Nothing. All very good. Room and bathroom a little small. Only one (expensive) place to eat right across the street. Room was fairly small, but adequate. The Inn opposite is no longer an Inn, more of a restaurant. It was all very good. The room could have done with a make over. Small Bath room.
