This was a nice friendly local hotel - although the building and surroundings itself was not all that attractive the plants outside were nice and there had been a lot of thought btaken over the internal decorations, such as some nice artwork. The staff were young but very nice. I thought that the quoted room price was slightly high but the excellent value for money of the meals compensated and made the overall final cost acceptable.

Friendly staff and excellent service. clean, friendly and large room. Went to a 40th Birthday Party. friendly staff; efficient. As we were cycling to Lands end we had our bikes. Your femalereceptionist was very helpful in ensuring secure storage of bikesovernight. Room was marge and pleasnat (booked as a single but duble bed provided)(. It's location. comfort and size of room. good value for money and very helpful staff. quiet location friendly staff. Good size comfortable clean room, bathroom a little tired but generally a comfortable one nightb stay. Excellent friendly bar staff with a varied bar menu with very good food. Good food, attentive staff, generally a quiet location (but see commentsabout football noise).Staff very helpful - especially when I got a flat tyre and the gardener changed my wheel!. Executive rooms nice and large with modern facilities.Stayed in an executive room. Accessed through a security door which is good for business travellers. Room was equipped with an executive desk and printer. Very clever electronic power shower. Clearly a concept other hotels should introduce. Very well done. Excellent breadth of choice at breakfast. Room well equipped withexcellent restocking - our towels were changed without asking during our4 day stay. Plenty of parking space. Nice to have an (alarm) radio aswell as tv.The Location anad the conveinience to local amenities, the food was excellent and the reception and bar staff attentative. Comfort and quietness. Very comfortable bed and well appointed room.b Helpful reception.The facilities of the Executive room; very useful as I had to work during my stay. Nice Hotel, good breakfast, parking, rooms and toiletries plus Sky Sports!. friendly staff,comfort and facilities inthe bedroom (iron). A fair price for a good size, tidy room, with Sky Sports.Pleasant room, with enough space to work in the evening. Only there for a few hours but everything was just fine. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Reception was a bit "distant". Ease of access into the town. it's weren't my 1st time at the B.W Tiverton hotel... it's my 5th time!!! its all about relaxing in the hotel...Location. The only disappointment wasthe food in the bar. A Tiverton burger , though sounded succulent was clearly a Tiverton Tesco Burger! I. unlucky to be next to family room with uncontrolled and noisy child- couldnt sleep till 1am. No lift!. The poor quality of the shower in the bathroom, lack of pressure or blocked hose as it was more of a dribble. worn stained carpets in the hallways. There should have been air conditioning, the rooms were very hot!!. On one of our seven nights we had yelling yobs playing football allnight long (literally) at a neighbouring Amateur Football Club. Not thehotel's fault, of course, but very annoying!. I felt very conspicuous dining alone in the middle of the restaurant, would have liked to have been tucked away in a corner!. On arrival the reception staff made light of the fact the main corridor to the bedrooms was closed due to refurbishment for two days and access was via the outside carpark during a period of bad weather.One of us found the bed a bit hard. Restaurant expensive, bar food ok,but 2 good indian restaurants in the town. The service at breakfast was poor. I think they were very busy and didn't have a strategy for coping. I appeared to be invisible and was certainly overlooked. I was served tea when I ordered coffee and was not asked for my breakfast order. In fact the waitress took my table menu away! I was left with little choice but to have the English breakfast buffet which was a rather dried out.The cooked breakfast; by 8:30am the food laid out was getting very dry. Lack of No smoking rooms (as the norm these days) and price of evening food!. Seems a shame to have Sky Sports then no other Freeview channels and also watching it on such a small TV. Evening meal too expensive. Problem with wi-fi not resolved. No-one to help carry luggage,wake up call forgotton,paper orderforgotten.
