staff very helpful and attentive to needs of young children . food really excellent and house wine very good value and delicious our room was comfortable with an excellent mattress and thick curtains and the bathroom had a good sized bath with lots of hot water and large fluffy towels and dressing gowns - altogether a most successful stay. Everything about the hotel was fantastic. Welcoming, friendly, efficient and extremely helpful staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful rooms with all the little extras and home comforts. A real treat, lovely food, we couldn't fault anything. Thankyou Patricks for making us feel so special.
所有评语 » Large bedroom and equally large king size bed. Sofa and space with quality bedding. Bathroom very roomy with shower over the bath very powerful and envigorating. Dined at Particks and food was gourgous. Lovely relaxing atmosphere of the bar / lounge with "Raffles feel" with the free peanuts. room was sparsely but nicely appointed. Big tub for soaking. Great location tho street parking is short or £5 for overnight public lot until 9am. Great 'nibbles' in the lounge for a light meal. Wonderful staff. Excellent base from which to explore the Gower Peninsula while in Wales. The lounge area was excellent. Although we only ate breakfast there, this was delicious. This is a great location for exploring the Gower peninsula. We very much liked the staff there, they had a great attitude and were always looking to do things for you. Great rooms: All different, with quirky design features and colour schemes. Huge bathrooms and all rooms overlook the sea. Lots of lovely attention to detail. We didn't get to eat there but the cocktails were great! I recommend the Coudy Mumbles Bay. This is a great hotel with fantastic rooms and excellent food. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends. Ideally located for exploring the Gower coast. The attention to detail in our room was superb. There was the usual tea and coffee facilities but also bottled water, a fridge for the fresh milk, iron and ironing board. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Situated overlooking the sea, Convenient for shops, If you have children there is a play area right facing the Hotel, Plenty of choice's to eat out. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were stylish and comfortable. The menu was varied and the food delicious. Even the standard rooms are very spacious, large bathroom. Clean. Sea view. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Warm welcome. Staff excellent. lovely staff, amazing food and loved being able to eat downstairs with our daughter being safe in bed with the baby monitor system. Patricks is a wonderful family run friendly hotel in lovely Mumbles. I love the individually designed rooms and the amazing food. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. We were warm throughout our stay and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The Purple bedroom was furnished to a high standard. There was a comfortable bar that had a nice atmosphere and comfy chairs. We liked the food. there were no negatives at all for our stay. Nothing. Found the lack of a thermostat to control room temperature a disappointment. Radiators have thermostat valves but hard to judge setting. Only comment about what was a very enjoyable experience. The room was excellent but the lack of a proper wardrobe would have been an issue had we been there for more than a long weekend. The bathroom was excellent but we did not realise that there would only be a bath with a hand held shower. We would probably have not chosen this room if this had been made clear at the time of the booking. The cane sofa looked lovely but was not particularly comfortable. We used the pillows from the bed to add more comfort. Booked what was supposed to be a junior Suite definitely needs some refurbishing and better lighting , and at least 1 chair in the room with a dressing table, There was no Lift for residents , my husband who is on his 70's had to lugg our case up to the top floor, will make sure in future when I book , the Hotel has a Lift. Nothing. No carpark was a bit of a nuisance but there is parking nearby. room possibly needed updating but thats just being picky!! we would love to stay again!!!. We had booked a junior suite because we knew that the weather was going to be bad and wanted a comfortable room to sit in if we were rained in. Unfortunately the chairs in the room were designed for looks not comfort. The pink bathroom could have done with a coat of paint around the bottom of the skirting board - it looked very grubby in places. I would also personally prefer a shower screen to a curtain. Bedroom and bathroom both had too few surfaces to lay out our 'things'. Needs a good big shelf or table in the bathroom, and another piece of furniture such as a chest of drawers in the bedroom - there is plenty of room for these! Also could do with a second electronic key to the Boat house outer door in case we want to enter independently. Room at front of hotel was noisy and too hot. Breakfast finishes too early if you need a lie-in!. We had two babies with the family the access for a double buggy was difficult we were on the 2nd floor, the lift only went to the 1st floor. Prospective customers should be warned about steep drive up to rooms and in our case we stayed on top floor which in addition to the drive had some 50 steps up to the room which were not a problem to us but could well be to many. Attention to detail was lacking especially at the crown/star rating. Dusty room - able to write in dust on table base, bathroom tops, t-roll holder - soap scum on tiles, shredded/worn towels and pictures nearly all hanging at an angle!. No lift. nothing - all good. Not good value without breakfast. When I was there hardly anybody had breakfast at £10 a head. Would not blame them when two excellent breakfast could be purchased locally for that price. late check-in 2.30pm and early checkout 11am. Enjoyed the room so much wanted to stay longer. Nothing to dislike at all. Lack of storage in such a large room, we were i9n the Garden room other rooms had more. Very steep incline up to rooms but hotel thought of everything and provided shoe bags so ladies can wear their flats then swap for heels at the bottom!. had to park a fair distance away from the hotel as their was no parking provided. They weren't serving dinner when we arrived. The bed was super uncomfortable; very hard. Every time I turned, the other person felt it. I personally like to have a small fridge and a small safe in my room. A private secure car parking area would have been an advantage, though was not really a problem. Not much in mumbles but beautiful beaches just outside. occasional traffic noise at night. Theres no Car Park which could be tricky on bank holiday or weekend. Large trees outside room blanked out sea view no fault of hotel. No dedicated parking but found on street parking outside. Room needed alittle bit of TLC decor wise. Nothing.
