Excellent location. A very relaxed atmosphere and most helpful staff at all times. The dining room staff were friendly and a good breakfast was served quickly and efficiently. Bar staff are very pleasant and we enjoyed the' happy hours 'making it an excellent venue for a 60th birthday celebration. I will recommend. I stayed here 50 years ago and had forgotten everything except for its position above South beach. An excellent surprise, well beyond our expectations. Great staff, room (218), views and food. A memorable break to celebrate a family event. Many thanks to everyone concerned.
所有评语 » Hotel staff were very friendly and approachable. Dining room staff were excellent especially Jane who was a pleasure to see. View from Hotel was superb, overlooking beach and Caldey Island. The Hotel was also an ideal location close to all shops and beach. What a fab time sea view from room , lovely garden. With , palm trees was a sun trap sitting there with a drink on one of the 3 happy hours the hotel offers was lovely already booked another stay value for money . The location ,right on south beach and close to ,but not in the, middle of, the bar and restaurant area is perfect. Also usefull having a good bar area is usefull,particularily on busy Tenby nights. We were made to feel welcome on our arrival because we were early we did not have to wait long for our room to become available,we found the staff in reception very cheerful and obliging. Very welcoming staff. Nothing too much trouble, dog able to stay with us and allowed everywhere except dining area. Reception staff cared for her when we were in the dining room. Lovely sea view, friendly staff, evening entertainment excellent. Good breakfast, very efficient in restaurant. Able to obtain cash using card in reception was very convenient. really enjoyed again in the Clarence, we have stayed there at least a dozen times and its lovely and clean ,and the staff are friendly,we will definitely be staying again. Great service, great location. We stayed there whilst doing the Long Course Weekend, and it couldn't have been better. A great hotel, on the beachfront :). Very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. A fantastic view. would have loved a longer stay there. Most definitely will be back. I liked the room, the friendliness of staff. Having the fast lift to third floor was great. Happy hour and cheap drinks all day Sunday is fabulous. we enjoyed the closeness to tenby town pubs shops ...beach ..hotel fab location to al i mention ...breakfast was nice ..bar area and garden brill. The staff were absolutely brilliant. Each and every one of them that I encountered were friendly, helpful and had a smile on their face. Clean, bright room with attractive painting of St Catherine's rock above the bed. Lovely view from room over the bay to Caldey Island. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and fairly comfortable though small for sharing. Location central to everything in Tenby. staff were fab nothing was too much trouble. Loved the quiet room with morning papers. The old fashioness was all part of its charm. Great location, beautiful view, comfortable bed and exceptionally helpful staff. Great value for money and very comfortable. stayed in room 112, wanted sea view, had what we requested, what a view, staff friendly, will definately stall there again. Lovely Hotel in a wonderful town on the seaside. I spent just one night and I really enjoyed all the time!. Some rooms are very small, but none of our party complained. There was nothing at all to comment on. One of the friendliest hotels with the best views that we have ever satayed at. Rooms are quite small and a bit pricey. The only thing we found was the shower was a little tight as we are both big people,ther was not a lot of room. nothingBeing. Slightly noisy street, but to be expected for a Friday night. Not enough information on board about events we missed the quiz and the fireworks. nothing. My room was very small but was only used for sleeping in so this wasn't really a hindrance. Wasn't sure if my room door was locked or not. Printed info in the room was unclear. Staff did come and help me sort it out. The lift had a mind of its own. Only one downside we were on the first floor and you can hear the entertainment in the lounge below but this only went on until 11pm so can manage that giving the many pluses for the hotel will definitely book this hotel again. My room was above the entertainment area and it was very noisy due to this Shower very poor flow. Shower curtain hanging half off. Nothing!. There was toothpaste splashed on the tiles in the bathroom The room was a little small even though it was a single. Nothing to say. Rather dated I did not like the sink in the room. Breakfast could be better quality, eg sausages. the bed was uncomfortable,poor nights sleep.not alot of room to get into shower, between shower and wash basin room 120. Curtain covering part of small window view. not a thing... Hotel in need of decorating. no issues. the size of the room-much too small for 2 people. Small room. nothing. Bathroom was spotless but room was clean however I felt the bedding could have been fresher. At breakfast one cold rude member of serving staff ruined it for the others who were all lovely and helpful. Curtains in room were like paper so let loads of light in. Sounds like I'm moaning but I would stay there again it was lovely. have stayed in many hotels and the room we had was very small with a poor ensuite. I had a double room with my dog. Unfortunately it was at the top of the house with only a skylight and was really too small for a double. The weather was exceptionally hot and my dog became distressed at night. It was impossible to get a flow of air. I had to sit on the bed because the only chair was in the wardrobe/hanging space. I had paid for two nights but left on the second day and came home. Evening meal menu could have been better. very tiny room compared to the two rooms next door, found myself wondering if I had paid the same for the tiny room. Unable to lock door from inside the room, door did not appear very secure, had I not had my mobility scooter, which I reversed in tight to the door, I would have felt very uneasy sleeping. maybe wifi in the room,not air conditioning,small shower. The size of the room was incredibly small. I am a slight person, tall and slim.The room was far too small, you could barely move in it. room to small bed uncomfortable breakfast fair. rooms tooo small. looks like the original rooms have been made too samll to squeese more rooms in. decoration was real bad. Really should have been better. Decoration and planning in all areas need to be updated completely.
