The staff were all very helpful and the hotel was clean and tidy. Although very basic the beds were very comfortable and clean. Tea and coffee in rooms. Good system to get in and out and owner very nice letting us leave our bags at the hotel whilst we went shopping the next day so we did not have to carry it about as we travelled by train. Very friendly staff and most chatty and helpful. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. All in all would certainly stay again.
所有评语 » The staff, the manager Mick, his elderly father John and a young girl took good care of me staying there. They were all very kind and helpful whatever I wanted and had a good portion of humour and very friendly and easygoing. A good place to stay for a reasonable price. Would choose the same place if I go to Swansea again. The very friendly welcome, the fact that our rooms were in the back, much quieter and cooler than the front rooms, (although of course they had no view to the beach.) Breakfeast was great, the beach across the road, beautiful. Easy exit to the West. We really enjoyed our stay as there was much to do and see in the area. The staff were very friendly the room had very good facilities. For £35 per night for a single room and it included good sized room with a shower, toilet, sink, tea & coffee making facilities, television and a bed with two pillows. Also had a sea front location, over the road and on the beach. The manager Mick is a very friendly person and the location of the hotel is perfect, just opposite the beach. I gave all the "Excellent " review to all the survey options based on the consideration of the price. All in all, it is an effective choice for you to stay here. Staff were lovely and friendly. Nice hot cooked breakfast in the morning. Close to seaside so can stroll in the morning when the sun comes up. Nice hot shower Tea and coffee making facilities TV with a choice of channels for viewing. Friendly, homely hotel with excellent sea-view of Swansea bay. Good value for money. Very relevant and helpful advice regarding parking restrictions outside on main road and the over-zealous methods of the traffic wardens. very nice hotel, the hosts are very kind and helpful. I was on a tight budget and Glevdon was easily the cheapest hotel in the whole of Swansea and surrounding district. Staff very friendly, free wifi, comfortable bed. 4 single beds room suit for group of friends， seaside location and 10minutes' walking to restaurant. Full English breakfast.great value of money. A nice comfortable bed. I was allowed to leave my luggage in the hotel in the morning and leave it there until collecting it in the evening. Very near sea and beach , but nt very near city centre need to take on bus 4 3mins,and the breakfast is good. I like the stuff there, they are very nice and kind to provide customers help. the gentleman who made us more like home coming than like checking in a hotel. the staff were very friendly and helpful. lovely breakfast. Would have liked a better view than next doors brick wall but did not request sea view so my fault really. Breakfast between 7 and 8 am so no lie in which most like on a break away. Could have done with less extension plugs in the room. From 4 PM until 8 AM there is no parking in the street or anywhere near except a Parkhouse in the center, 15 minutes walk away and what seems expensive. The narrowness of rooms and stairs was unusual for us, but that's the way houses are in that city. I think that the breakfast could have been improved so that the bacon and eggs were available faster. But I had cereal and toast so it didn't bother me!. Just for your information ---No lifts - need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Parking restrictions outside during weekdays, meaning I had to move the car round the corner into the side streets by 8am or risk a parking ticket. I don't like the smell of the towel.Hope you could improve. All in all, nice place to stay. :-). No view with en-suite. The dining room carpet could do with a shampo but it was well into season and might be inevitable,. Sad parking was only until 8am on the street outside of the hotel. But there were nearby parking lots. Matress was old and lumpy, but an extra duvet was provided which could be used as a matress topper, so problem solved!. Parking only in front of the hotel on the street and just till 8am. nothing. Nothing really, could have done with a nicer view in the room. Nothing. I was surprised when booking in to be told it was cash payment on arrival - I was planning to use my debit card as usual. There was no mention of this on the web site. Also I realised later I was not given a receipt- not good. The room was very small. There was some problem with the balcony lock. Check out. Parking could be problematic. No lifts...:) The mattress need to be changed!. Slightly stale and lighting a little harsh, otherwise everything was fine. Old. I was asked to pay in cash, despite having given my card details at the time of booking. The TV in the room could only get one station. It was changed, but to one which had only a black and white picture. The shower tray filled up rapidly which meant I was paddling in the shower. I was worried it might overflow. May be need reprint the house and change some new. I hope that the facilities need to be improve better. rather small shower room. the hotel could with updating. Room was small and floorboards very noisy. I couldn't move around without making a noise. Tv was dated and could not get it to work. Remote controls were held together with tape! Wires hanging loose which could be dangerous. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, I think I felt every spring in the mattress. Décor needs sprucing up. Quality of room Could be cleaner Décor dated. 10 a.m. checkout. shower terrible, limited time parking outside hotel.Room could do with updating. Any hotel should be clean. It was basic and in desperate need of modernization. This is reflected in the price. It's cheap and you get what you pay for!. Big downer nobody on duty to let me in when i arrived even though i had sent an email to confirm .Owner seemed upset that i had checked with next door who said that this happened regularl.Room 9 was up 4 flights of steep stairs very pokey,miniature wardrobe and portable black &white TV.I suggest an inspection to make the owner provide longer cable for kettle as the extension lead at full stretch is very danderous. Room small and en-suite was from the '60s.Too many extension leads.Very pricey compared to other guest houses on same street. Shall not return. Decor Room Bed Bathroom. The smell made this place the worst b&b i have ever stayed in.
