A courtyard room which was spacious, very clean and a lovely big bathroom which included a bath as well as a shower. We had booked a double room only that morning and a lady very kindly rung us to say there was a problem with the heating so would a twin room be alright, which we accepted.

The Lord Nelson was a great place to stay with friendly, helpful staff and the food was lovely. We couldnt finish the evening meals or the breakfast despite the high standard.
