  friendly and efficient, pleasant stay - although the hotel is a big old place the rooms were extremely clean the beds very comfortable, we didnt get a chance to eat breakfast as we awere leaving on the 6.15 ferry but was offered continental breakfast instead. excellent value for money and I wouldnt hesitate to stay there again

Very limited parking which LetsBookHotel.com did not say we had to book in advance however hotel managed to find us a space when we arrived. There's an excellent breakfast with lots of varieties and you fill out a paper with what you want -excellent service (I recommend the scrambled eggs).   Fiona was so so kind and helpful--we were a bit late checking in because we missed a train, and she responded immediately to my email and was very understanding! The guest house was comfortable, clean, and conveniently located up Jacob's Ladder. We had a great time in Oban and in Tobermory and would definitely recommend.
