Nice comfortable guesthouse in a convenient location only about 5 minutes walk to the main town streets. Parking was available behind the guest house. What we really enjoyed about our stay was how much Annie went out of her way for we guests. We were in Stratford for the Shakespeare marathon and Anne was Kind enough to do an earlier breakfast for us on her Sunday morning and have showers after our run. And we had some great recommendations for local restaurants and things to see.
所有评语 » I wanted to stay somehwere close to the marathon strart point for the following day and couldn't have been better placed location-wise. I found the owner very polite and welcoming, and the room clean, with an amazingly comfy bed! Upon entry i was asked what i would like for breakfast, service was spot on, the food was great, and the company of other guests/fellow runners made it a very sociable and enjoyable meal. This is an oasis of luxury in a busy Stratford on Avon. Host Annie makes the stay fantastic with her welcoming and bubbly personality. The rooms are beautiful with every minute detail perfect. Food fresh and plentiful. We felt like part of the family. Sad to leave. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a holiday in this lovely place. Would definitely return. We stayed at Twelfth night in order to celebrate our anniversary. We were made to feel incredibly welcome, without feeling overwhelmed, which is tricky to balance. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and there were lots of lovely little details throughout our stay which made it special. We will definitely be returning to such a lovely place!. perfect location for one night when we were attending the RSC in the evening. and for the main town centre and attractions. Charming welcome, room was pristine and did not want for anything. Breakfast was exceptional in quality and presentation. Would not hesitate to recommend and will go again when attending RSC. Friendly open welcome Immaculate rooms Really guest oriented - lots of little touches that show you they are thinking "what can I do to make the guest feel comfortable/at home here?". This was noticeable in pretty much everything from the little extras in the rooms to service. Beds are firm - not overly soft. The host, Annie, was super-friendly and really helpful. She lent us the programme of the play we were going to watch that night so that we could read it in our room before the play. Breakfast was superb. Our room was really lovely and cozy. We definitely recommend the place and will come back. Warm welcome. Great host Annie, she made us feel very welcome and gave helpful tips about what to do in Stratford upon Avon. Great breakfast, fresh fruit, smoothies, cereal as well as freshly cooked food. Both Annie and her daughter are a credit to the English Tourist Sector: welcoming, friendly and helpful. There are also well thought out extra touches in the bedrooms. All this and an excellent breakfast. Very good value. We really enjoyed the friendliness of the owner Ann and attention to detail in the room and at breakfast. Rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious and spotless. A very comfortable and quiet night's sleep. The Landlady (Annie) was very welcoming and helpful. I found the shower room a little cramped, one doesn't find perfection anywhere. As a large person, I found the ensuite in the room at the top of the house rather cramped. At Annie's suggestion, in future we shall contact her and explore other room options. Our room was a little cramped for absolute comfort. Rooms facing street could be noisy. Nothing!. The fact we could only stay one night. Longer trip next time. The room was little warm at night and keeping the window open meant sleeping through noisy street traffic. However there are rooms on the otherside of the house we can request next time. Parking is difficult to find initially as not on premises. brekfast till 9 am only, but you can sit longer and enyoy it. For 3 people in a room it was a little cramped due to no real space to store luggage. If I had to be really picky, the rooms were a little on the small size. Bedrooms were all upstairs. Room was very small. It was very difficult to find. We had an attic room, although we are not big people, was a little cramped especially the bathroom. Saying that it was very very clean and the extra touches were great. nothing. Nothing. Very small bathroom and shower. Room on the small side. Nothing. was pleased with everything. Barroom was tiny and difficult to move around in. nothing.
