Lovely welcoming greeting from all the staff, who were always pleasant. Couldn't make the 1st night due to partner not being well, but on arrival was offered to stay the next night instead of losing a night. Very much appreciated as we were looking forward to the stay. food was excellent had breakfast both morning and evening meal both nights. Can't fault the food at all, overall an excellent couple of days. Do intend to re-visit in the summer if we get one.
所有评语 » The building is traditionally stone-built, in a commanding situation in an extremely scenic Yorkshire valley. It is family-run to a high standard, with courteous and efficient staff. The food, with an Italian emphasis, is excellent, and ensuite bathrooms have been exceptionally well added to a building of this type. wonderfull views all around breathtaking ! we have stayed at Alma inn several times at different times of the year so scenery differs with the season! love the dining room and gorgeus breakfast thanks Glynis!. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was very nice and good value. Meals were also excellent and good value for money. Calzano Pizza it was terrific value for money and so big, and tasty. Food and beer are excellent!. Business suitability. Nice place,. The friendly staff. Location. Food. We got to lie in and didn't end up leaving our room until midday on day of departure. We were compensated with free meal and a drink because of a couple of minor complaints. Overall we enjoyed our stay cheers. Huge, comfortable bed. The location. It was friendly. Can't really say anything as there was nothing I could say we disliked. I didn't mind a thing that could be within the control of the owners.The bedrooms, with sloping ceilings, are not roomy - perhaps inevitably for a building of this traditional type. The roads into the area present quite difficult driving, with hills, sharp bends and passing places between stone walls, particularly with a large vehicle such as a camper. But if that was otherwise, you would be somewhere less appealing. leaving!wished we could have stopped longer!. Lack of Hot water Not sufficient to use the bath No TV Signal. Rooms are a bit dated, though comfortable and the windows could do with a clean. We had no reception on tv. No hot water. Although we were insured this wouldn't happen again so we would definatley return! See you soon. angled ceilings in odd places in both bedroom and bathroom (my 6'2" husband cracked his head several times). Restaurant was closing at 7.00pm so we dined at 6.00 in the bar - Sunday roast (left from lunchtime) hard potatoes, soft vegetables. Apart from really friendly young waitress, staff were apathetic. We thought it expensive,when booking a b&b the price should include breakfast and not be charged after eating breakfast £8 each....1 Bacon&egg, 1 cereal & toast. The dog sitting on the furniture in the pub where people are expected to sit and eat. The cob webs hanging from the ceiling The breakfast portions was small.
