It was not expensive; It was clean; Shower was strong and hot water plentiful; TV was included; there were no unpleasant surprises; owners were extremely nice and went out of their way to assist (explained bus routes, let me use the office PC for online check-in, let me leave my luggage there in the morning and come back later in the day to change out of my business suit); buses pass from just outside the guest house; Holiday Inn Express next door meant I could use Hoppa Bus to Heathrow Airport.
所有评语 » It is a small and cute bed and breakfast with really friendly owners who give advice on anything you'd like to know! You easily take the hoppa h5 bus from terminal 5 from heathrow, 4,50 single or 8 pound return. It's a few min from the airport right next to the holiday inn express. The tv in the room is nice and the bathroom is clean and good as well. There is a supermarket next door and m&s supermarket in the gas station, nice fresh fruit etc. there are restaurants in the holiday inn expre. A small but clean guest house with parking available at the rear - perfect for business trips. I stayed here whilst working at Royal Ascot - the staff were lovely and very helpful! They even let me print off some documents from their computer for free. Great power shower! The rooms have everything you need and a rarity these days...FREE wifi!. Sasha and his wife are very nice people. Very friendly and very helpful.I really enjoyed my time there. My room was absolutely amazing for this price. Clean, big enough for comfort. TV, free Wifi,shower. What else we need?Anybody if you have to go to Slough or just searching a place near London you have to stay in this hotel!. The personell was very helpfull with all my questions. The room was arge and had coffee to drink in the morning. Breakfst was optional. Close to the airport - and cheap taxi, as long as you don't get the ones standing outside waiting - you have to book. The staff were fantastic even providing soya milk for the 5 year old travelling with us. They rang me back when I phoned and the connection cut and didin't hesitate to provide what we needed or answer any queries. Very friendly and an enjoyable stay. The location was perfect for all transport links. We were on our way to Thorpe Park but it is even closer to Heathrow which is just a bus away. The staff were knowledgeable about the transport links and nearby places to eat. The people were friendly and helpful. I stayed in the "annex" and it was a much better room than I expected. Really great for the price. Highly recommended for a hold-down-the-cost business traveler. I will stay there again. Sasha and Kate were very nice and extremely helpful ... Recommended an excellent restaurant and provided us with very good directions to get us to our destination the day of leaving. We would stay again. Keeper was very helpful. Printed out boarding passes, got us very good taxi driver, helped us park and recommended local restaurant. Very nice to us. Close to airport. Easy access from the airport, parking available, near to bus line, and a short drive from the underground. Clean, good food in the morning, and comfortable beds. Nice accommodation, I would recommend this guest house to all. Sasha is a nice host who is nothing but helpful. Well recommended!!!!!. Well run hotel. Owners very polite an friendly. Its hard to find a reasonable and cheap place near Heathrow and this is it. Left a valuable item behind and only realized at Heathrow. Not only did he find it for us but he delivered it to the airport himself. Location for anyone flying in or out of Heathrow and in need of a bed and shower would do well to book in here. The owner is very friendly and helpful. It is clean and a low cost option for a night stop in a very expensive city. There is bus stop around the hotel to terminals with 3.90 pounds per ticket. The staff was friendly, the room was sorted with fair accessories. Large room, large bed, power shower and quiet guest house. Location to heathrow airport. Cheap,rooms are comfortable. There is nothing to see in the immediate vicinity; taking the underground requires a trip to Heathrow Airport; it was quite hot weather while I was there (but this is apparently an unusual occurrence), but would have appreciated a fan; some traffic noise but nothing that kept me from sleeping. The bed was pretty hard and the walls are really thin. I had ear plugs with me though so it was fine. Breakfast a little expensive unless you enjoy have the whole works. The front desk isn't manned most of the time which makes checking out hard if you're in a rush. The bathroom was a little small and the shower was very hot at the lowest temperature but for the price you can't complain. Not much else in the area but they pointed me to one good pub within a short walk and a food store was nearby. The hot water in shower was extremely hot and i couldnt adjust it. Room was cramped but fine for one night. all i would like to say is nothing. Despite double glazing, noise from a busy road out front still could be heard. Everything else OK>. Nothing. It was OK. Breakfast seemed a little expensive especially when you can get all you can eat breakfast down the road for half the price. A bowel of cerial and a cup of tea was £5 at breakfast. The lack of resources in the kitchen. The location. It took 40 minutes to go to London. There wasn't much entertanment around. (Movies). Front rooms suffer from a bit traffic noise. Non-functioning kettle and bathroom light. A room away from traffic noise next time. Bathroom needs to be larger and more shelves and hooks on backs of doors. no major problems. 40 £ for a taxi fare from heatrow.... a little bit small. Room and bathroom were a little bit small. The property is a small residential house converted into a B&B. There is not lift and it is difficult to get luggage to the guest rooms. The room I stayed in was very small. The biggest problem is that the minimum charge (set by baa) to get a taxi from the airport is 40 pounds. To get back to the airport a more reasonable 10 pounds. Put this together with the cost of a room and you are much better off financially staying at the airport hotels. The room I stayed in had shoe box size and was directing to a rather busy main road. Even at night not a quiet minute. Sleeping with a slightly open window is no option. It was good enough for 3 nights, but, I would not recommend it for holidays or longer business trips. Noise from road if you have front room and window open. Basic room. Get what you pay for. Ok for the 1 night for ease to airport. No air con. So sleeping was uncomfortable. Only if you have to, hot water only at peak times not before six morning and evening. It was not what showed on the net. We were in an old house down the road, very noisy, impossibly crowded car park, room stank of smoke, shower difficult to use...never again. The tv did not work and we could not get anyone to come get it fixed. The room was small, and there was no hot water in the morning for a shower. Would benefit from a few more creature comforts. But for my purposes was perfectly adequate. On check in was told I was not staying in the building but in Heathrow House, a different property a 5 minute walk away and it was raining! Very very basic with a couple of suspect stains on the bed cover. Certainly not like the photos. rooms to small. not set up for summer. Room smelt musty and dirty. Very dark when advertised as light and airy. Decoration poor. Advertised as having hairdrier in room but only available on request. Advertised as free wifi but only available when a charge was paid. Advertised with a bathroom but was only a shower room. If it had not been so late when we arrived and we had known the area better we would have sought accomadation elsewhere. Dreadful place.
