  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week.   Nice, modern apartment. Less than ten minutes by feet from the Central line of the tube, 1 minute from the bus stop. The staff is kind and efficient. There are always people in the surroundings streets, at every hour of the day and of the night. Previous comments mention the noise from a localnightclub, we had no problems with this at all and our room was locatedat the front which is where if you were going to have problems youwould.
